I never really know what to say in these things! I'm Allie and I'm 25! I've been writing since I was around six or seven years old, mainly kiddy stories about new babies and such and started fanfiction when I was 11. At that age, my stories always featured pop group, B*Witched...and they were horrible! Super horrible. The stories didn't make much sense and I was very much a Mary Sue! Around 14, I started maturing in my writing, and my stories started to feature Hollywood reporter, Katie Wagner. Now, I write about things that I wish could happen.

One thing you should know about me: I LOVE country music, especially country duo, Sugarland. They saved me.

STORY CHALLENGES

Shuffle fics:

The idea is you put your iPod on shuffle, and write a short ficlet inspired by each song that comes on (for ten songs.) The catch is you're only allowed to write for as long as the song lasts - typically three or four minutes.

It really forces you to go with your first impression/idea. It's really challenging and lots of fun. Very addicting once you get going - I'd definitely recommend you give it a go if you think it sounds exciting! Just choose a fandom, character or pairing, and grab your iPod!

Fifty Sentences:

You are given 50 prompts, and you have to come up with fifty sentences about any pairing of your choosing. That's it! Sounds harder than it really is.

Fanfic 100:

You are given 100(!) prompts, with four being a writers choice, and you have to come up with 100 stories. Very tough and challenging, but a lot of fun!

WORKS IN PROGRESS

(Keeping You a Secret) Wanting to Belong: Five years have passed since Holland came out as a lesbian. She and Cece are married and are enjoying life, but the one thing Holland wants is to be reunited with her mom and family. (Basically writing this as a sequel (hopefully), and ending it the way it SHOULD have ended-in my opinion, anyway)

Fanfic100 Challenge: The Golden Girls: 100 mini fics about the Golden Girls. A bit challenging and hard, but I am determined to finish this. There will be 100 chapters to this story when finished.

Fifty Sentences-Grey's Anatomy: A Calzona story done with the same writing challenge as I've done with the Magic School Bus.

PROBABLE PERMANENT HIATUS

Breakaway: 18 year old Phoebe Terese meets and eventually dates a junior named Todd during her first year of college, however things take a turn for the worse when Todd turn abusive. Can she break away from this relationship (My first attempt at an angst-y type fic, however doing the research and kinda seeing a friend go through a similar thing turned me off from continuing. I may finish in the future.)
