So. Bio. Yes. Not really sure what to write. Heh. I'm partially crazy, have a brain previously occupied by a horde of chipmunks (most of them left to explore the world), and am a walking contradiction. What I'm a contradiction about... well, that'd be telling, now wouldn't it: )

Likes:
~horses and red winged black birds. Ospreys are cool birds too.

~chipmunks - sugar happy chipmunks are one day going to rule the world. I just know it.

~Yu Yu Hakusho and several other random manga.

~Fresh asparagus, dill pickles and pesto - you can't you wrong with asparagus cut fresh from the garden.

~Pyro - he blows up microwaves for fun. What else can I say? Insane pyromaniacs are fun. Especially when they're Aussies. I play him on an RPG.

~Rocks - especially the big ones you can climb on. Almost more funness than climbing trees.

~The coast of Maine - see above

~Guinea pigs - I have a guinea pig, Pebbles, and she's about the cutest creature in the entire world.

~Blessed Union of Souls - I really like most of their music. It's good to listen to when you're in a very depressed or pensive mood. Same with Jars of Clay and Sarah McLaughin.

~Enya - Again, nice music. This time, music you can listen to when you need a song to try to get you out of a depressed mood.

~Tamora Pierce - she was one of my favorite authors when I was in grade school. She still is, only I've read all of her books and there's only so many times you can read a story before you practically know it by heart.

~Pietro - I love watching him zoom around. It's so cool! I wish I could run that fast.

Dislikes:
~Lentil stew

~Rap Music and Heavy Metal - Rap music is people talking with music in the backround. Heavy Metal is people screaming with music in the backround. Both gives headaches. What more can I say?

Neutral:

~Scott - He's just the perfect, "I'm the oh-so-charismatic leader and you shall obey my every whim" person, and he irks me. I don't mind him in the prequel series', but everywhere else he just bugs me. However, I've read some really good stories based on him that made me respect him as a person, if not like him entirely.

~Jean - almost the same as Scott. I liked reading about her in prequel stories, and she isn't quite so bad in movie-verse, but it seems that somewhere along the way in the episodes, she got all the personality ironed out of her. It also bugged me how in the first episode she looked like she was toying with Scott's heart, and even though I don't even LIKE Scott, it still bugged me. Plus she did the same with Fred, which is almost worse. She should have noticed Fred was getting obsessed with her. I mean, the poor guy'd never had any friends before, and then she walks in with her dazzling smile and bright red hair and...grr. Same as with Scott, there are some fanfics out there that portray her beautifully.

~Author's Serendipidy - There is a precog mutant who has been dreaming about the X-Men...and writing about it. Xavier tries to track her down, and finally finds where she lives the night before her house burns down, in which all of her stories are lost and she is killed. It's finished! I just haven't posted all the chapters yet.

~Meet my Friend - A short story I have to write for my Sci Fi and Fantasy class. This one is LOTR. A palantiri are being gathered together and accounted for, but one is lost. Gandalf leads an expedition into a different world to retrieve it.

~Random Bits of Insanity - COMPLETED AT LAST! - Basically, an AU Tara, in the first person, with a different background, and with subtly different powers. A what if fic, for what would have happened if the circumstances around Tara's past had not happened, she had not met Alyda, had not become friends with Kari, etc. More of a character introspection piece than the other, and completely different. Trust me, this girl is almost completely unrecognisable from the other. I don't want to post until I have more of it editted and polished, however.

Works in Progress:

~Bored Babblings from an Infirmary Wing - Kari's prologue type thing. What was going on in Kari's mind directly after the end of Crystal Drops and Hawks, along with a flashback into her past.

~Unnamed sequel to Crystal Drops and Hawks - Kari and Tara return to the Institute for the school year. Chaos ensues with Pietro, Alyda, the sabotage of Cerebro, and a mysterious road trip into the middle of nowhere. Logan is not a happy potato.

~Field Trip - Movie-verse. After the events at Lake Alkali, Xavier plans a trip to a ski resort to take everybodies mind off their troubles. Teenage mutants and companycamp out at Smuggler's Notch in Vermont.

I got involved in a really cool RPG, rpgxmenevo.proboards27.com. Come check it out! There are lots of really cool and insane people who post there, so it's really great. The stories are great, although it's going to take about two months before I can actually get around to posting, what with the huge amount of background information I need to read... Previous stories and such.
