Me
Not too much to say. I won't tell you my real name, but I go by Reading Redhead (Red for short) on this site. I won't tell you my age, but that's kind of pointless because anyone who reads my author's notes knows how much I complain about school, and can come up with a fairly correct guessing range from there. My dream job is to be a writer. If you really want to know more than that, check out my livejournal at the link above that says "homepage."
My drive to be a published writer coupled with school's demands on my free time mean that I no longer write fanfiction; I'm a reviewer only. I don't know if this will ever change, but for now, consider my work on permanent hiatus.

Writing
I have been working on a novel in progress for...well, let's just say "forever" and leave it at that. The past two Novembers, I produced novels for National Novel Writing Month. I'm also starting to get into the writing of short stories, and I may be published in a fantasy anthology next year (my fingers are crossed). Fanfiction used to be my retreat from "serious writing," and served as a way for me to exercise certain skills, such as plotting, character development, or new writing techniques, but as I said above, I'm no longer writing fanfiction in order to focus on more serious projects.
