In my free time - which I never seem to have enough of - I'm big on videogames and webcomics, with a more-than-passing interest in anime, and cartoons in general for that matter. Speaking of gaming and writing, I write and participate in podcasts for RandomNPC, a gaming blog primarily focused on RPGs.

I'm partial to mysteries and adventure, but I have a very, very soft spot for cute things.

.Hack//Heist - Part 1 of 4. Story told from two perspectives concerning the actions of three thieves trying to steal from Cyber Connect. Mystery, action, drama, angsty fluff. Some Kite/BlackRose.

.Hack//Relapse - Part 2 of 4. Same two perspectives. Dean and Hiroshi (Kite) follow opposite trails in pursuit of the men behind The World and Morganna. More mystery, action, drama and angsty fluff, and a touch of romance to boot. Slightly more Kite/BlackRose.

.Hack//Penance - Part 3 of 4. Follows the end of Quarantine. Kite finds himself being followed, online and offline, and rumors begin circulating about a bizarre event character who's searching for Stolls (Dean). Same as above, only... well, moreso, I guess. And CLOSURE! Kite/BlackRose, OC/BT.

.Hack//Rejoinder - Part 4 of 4. Some time after the end of Penance, forces within Cyber Connect seek the end of The World by any means necessary. Meanwhile, Kite slowly loses his desire to play the game, and Dean returns to Japan in search of Miku. Same as usual, but a bit more mature this go-round. Distinctly more pronounced Kite/BlackRose, OC/BT.

Freedom, for Better or Worse - Breath of Fire III. Slight Ryu/Nina fluff, postgame introspection on what, exactly, it was all about. Oneshot.

What I Didn't Say - Rozen Maiden. Post-season one Shinku versus computer shenanigans, wherein she finds out what's been on Jun's mind. Slight Jun/Shinku fluff.

Lessons - Final Fantasy XI. Series of fanfic requests; the adventures and ponderings of select characters throughout Vana'Diel. Five stories in all.

The Things That I Want - Final Fantasy XI. A Red Mage goes spelunking, looking for a certain special something he lost a long time ago. Same character as from the Lesson on Versatility.

On Archetypes - Final Fantasy XI. Captain Rakoh Buuma muses about the very, very similar people she sees coming and going from Windurst Woods. Guest appearance by the guy from Lessons and The Things That I Want.

Things Left Behind - Valkyria Chronicles. Shortly before the battle at Naggiar, a team of Gallian scouts were sent to a town near the border to investigate Imperial sightings. What transpired would remain a mystery until well after the end of the war.

Planned Stories

Empty Man's Desire - Working title for a oneshot S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl fic. En route to the reactor sarcophagus, the Marked One takes a detour through the Pripyat hotel and finds he can stand no longer. Forced to rest, he's left only with his thoughts, with questions he cannot answer. Short introspection piece.

No One Came - Working title for a lengthy Star Ocean: Second Story/Evolution fic, reimagined from a much older story I once wrote. Claude returns to Earth for a debriefing, finding only a Federation brass that simply doesn't know what to do with him. The debriefing agent, one Royce Fitzgerald, finds that Claude may have left something important back on Expel. Drama/romance fic, pairings not yet determined.
