Author has written 2 stories for Silmarillion.

Suilad, mellyn.

My name is Mirfein.

I will write mostly poetry here, as I have far too many original stories to have time to write much (or any, thus far) fanfiction, though I love to read it, and am somewhat addicted to it. I like most genres of fics. I think I am currently in somewhat of a "lightly amusing" kick, and I am gravitating towards humor-ish stuff right now. However, I have terrible mood swings, and I also have a great appreciate for angst. :3

I am known to read many types of fanfiction, almost entirelyLotR- and Silmarillion-based these days.As far as pairings go, I like all sorts of stuff. I appreciate people who elaborate on ambiguous canon pairings. Slash doesn't really bother me, but I'm not too into it. Well, depends on the day, I guess.Apart from this, however, canon-rape angers me, as well as self-inserts, Mary Sues, general stupidity, badfics, etc.

My favorite Elves to read are Maglor, Glorfindel, Erestor, Lindir (and pretty much any Elf of Imladris), Gil-galad, Finrod and Thingol. I used to have an odd obsession with Thingol, but it only lasted a while. I still like Elwë fics though. x)

I'm currently in the serious (and sometimes not-so-serious) process of learning Sindarin. If I ever feel the need to put any Elvish in my writing I will try to make it as grammatically accurate as possible. If, however, I ever do write a story that includes Elvish phrases, and I royally screw it up, please tell me. Because messing up my Elvish is something I loathe to do. >_>

I also have quite a bit of (somewhat outdated) writing over at fictionpress.com under the penname Mir-Firiel.

I would like to say thank you in advance for any and all reviews. Thank you.

~Mirfein
