Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and CSI.

Where is she? The best place to find me is over at my Livejournal, which I update several times a week with random musings, and occasionally icons.
C2: The Literary Sanctuary is for all fics I've come across and enjoyed (and convenient to glean what my current obsessions are), and a second account, Benediction, for overflow of R-rated fics I follow (including some of my unconventional favorites). I often add off-site recs to Benediction's profile as well, so keep a sharp eye open.

Favorites: I'm just a reader, reviewer and recommender who, on rare occasions, moonlights as a passable author. While you are here, check out my Favorites here at FF.net that I follow and love. Some stories and authors listed are sentimental favorites (that first piqued my interest in a certain genre), but many I consider as examples of fanfiction--a few even fiction, period--at its very best. I would suggest looking at my list of Favorite Stories first.
Fandom Preferences: I try not to restrict myself to any one pairing for any fandom. While I tend to read slash, I love excellent gen and het. I hope my Favorites list reflects a balance of the three. As for pairings, I read too many to list. If it's well-written, it's probably worth reading. I hate to limit myself, and I would miss out on quality fiction if I did. As for fandoms, I follow House M.D., Dexter, Hustle, CSI (Las Vegas, New York & Miami), NCIS, Stargate: Atlantis & SG-1, Numb3rs, Studio 60, Heroes, Firefly/Serenity, Supernatural, DC Comics, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, The Magnificent Seven, Life on Mars, Harry Potter, Without a Trace, Psych, ROME, BtVS/AtS, Star Wars, RENT, and a touch of X-Men, X:WP/HtLJ (Joxer/Ares!), The Fast & the Furious, Phantom of the Opera, Hellsing, OUaTiM, Discworld, InuYasha, Master & Commander, Labyrinth, L.A. Confidential, The Matrix, Smallville (preferably CLex futurefics with happy endings, though Clark/Oliver is slowly taking over my brain) and anything else I come across that tickles my fancy.

Four Must Reads: (from the enchanting, to the intelligent and powerful, to the...ahem...nautical)

The two 'what if's that I wish were 'what happened':
~Stealing Harry by Copperbadge ('samvimes' here), an AU masterpiece about family & friendship, life & love, good & evil, with a dash of Sirius/Remus, mentor-Snape, and the most adorable 8-year-old Harry you will ever meet. The subtle beauty of this enchanting epic is simply indescribable, and with the author's plans to cover all of Harry's years at Hogwarts, there is much to look forward to. Sequel Laocoon's Children Years 1 & 2 also there, or download Year 1 at Megaupload.
~Robin's Unbroken Universe: Consider this--what if Sirius had remained the Potters' Secret Keeper? Promises Unbroken, an AU (non-slash) that rivals the books in its magnificence, is the story of the Marauders and their unbreakable friendship. Engrossing and real, I can't praise it enough. Sequel Promises Remembered is now complete. Last in the trilogy, Promises Defended, is a WIP.

The best Sparrington (i.e., Sparrow/Norrington):
~The Matter of Rules (Parts 1, 2, 3 (a & b), 4 and spin-off ) by L.M. Griffin (aka Wren): Told in the Norrington first person, this is one of the most romantic fanfics I've ever read. I think it best captures the magic and humor of the film as well as the subtle character nuances of Commodore Norrington, Jack Sparrow, Will & Elizabeth while maintaining the historical aspects of the period. Whether they're fighting or loving, the air between Norrington and Sparrow simply sizzles. And best of all, Wren's Norrington is so amazingly developed that you can easily understand how this man earned the rank of Commodore (especially so in Part 2: Acts of Piracy). Even if you didn't think you were a Norrington fan, after reading this, you will be. Drop me a line for directions to more 'Wrenfic.'

Best Use of Canon:
~A Year Like None Other by Aspen in the Sunlight (Yahoo!Group), the most popular fic at Skyehawke, is a gen 6th year Harry-Snape-Draco-centric epic. AYLNO is nothing short of spellbinding. Kudos to Aspen for bouncing back after FFnet unfairly deleted the story, and she lost nearly 5000 reviews.

Exercises in Boredom: (I much prefer reading fanfiction to writing, so they're nothing profound)
Change in Seasons: A set of Harry/Voldemort drabbles, unconsciously inspired by the work of Passo. My thanks to all those who have reviewed, as I was surprised and overjoyed to receive such kind words.
To Love the Unloved: A quiet Ron/Draco I wrote for The Silver Snitch's Contest #4.
