I'm sure that many of you have noticed that I've deleted all my stories. ;) To be honest, those stories were crap! I've put several more years under my belt and decided that I will redo a lot of those stories. They were old enough that I'd rather delete them and create new stories than keep them up. So, I am sooo sorry for those of you who had my stories in your favorites list but I think by taking such a long hiatus from fanfiction in general, I hope that I will create better stories now. =)

'Ello to those who have randomly clicked on my name or was led to my profile by an updated story or new story published by me. ^.^ My name is Raye and this is my little ff.net bio. I started out writing well over 13 years ago and since then, I've only expanded on my writing abilities. Mainly, I'm a poet, though I have been known to publish and update some of my fan-fictions and original stories which are located over at Fictionpress.com. As a writer, I feel most comfortable when I'm writing poetry, although there are days when I like to step out of that shell and do something completely different.

I do occasionally beta for others and since I have the free time and a stable internet connection, I might be more apt to stepping back into that part of me. Fair warning though to those who wish to have me beta your stories: I don't sugar coat your mistakes. I point them out with my lovely red pen (not literally of course) and then offer you suggestions, advice and tips on improving the quality of your work. Many people find that having a beta like that is, well, intimidating and often times, they don't like it. When you ask me to be your beta, you're asking for someone's honest opinion, their help with your story no matter how big or small and for them to spend time helping you with the story overall. A beta spends their personal time helping you. If you ask me to become your beta, please keep in mind that I will be honest and if you do not like honesty, I will flat out refuse to continue to help. (No offense)

As for updating my stories, that will be something that will be, in the mean time, up in the air. I just recently got back into reading fan-fiction and after taking a 2 year hiatus from writing fan-fiction, I feel it will take some time to get used to it again. And, considering the fact that Jan. 2012 I will become a first time mother, I feel that writing will take a back burner. I will try to write when I have free time but my fellow readers, please do not pester me for updates often. ^^''''' Parenting is hard work and often times, you don't have time to play and sit down to do things you used to be able to. When I update, I will try to write long chapters so that way you guys will get to have a better idea of what will happen later on in the story. And, for my previous stories that are 2 years old or older, many of them are on a permanent hiatus. There MIGHT be the possibility of going back at a later date and taking some old ideas and turning them into something new but for now, that is another idea for another time.
