Author has written 12 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Bones. I've not put a profile up before because I never know what to say in these things... I started out writing LOTR fic based on the character of Eomer with the specific goal of learning to write. In particular, I wanted to see if I could write a novel-length story with some original characters. Since finishing Heart of the Horselord, I've been working on an original fantasy-romance novel, though I do occasionally still 'commit a fanfic'. Most of them have been sequels to Horselord, though I'm branching out into the fandom of Bones (the TV show.) For those awaiting more Eomer and Lisswyn...it's coming. I've been working on something for several months now which I think (hope!) will please people, though it's not quite ready. (It turned out to be a rather more challenging topic than I'd anticipated.) In real life, I feel younger than the age my birth certificate insists upon, and work either in libraries or tech fields (sometimes at the same time) for income. I read an insane amount (romance, scif-fi, fantasy, mystery), watch a little TV (I've been disappointed so often it takes a lot for me to risk my time on the capricious moods of TV producers and networks), and have recently developed an obsession for jewelry making when I'm not writing. I'm from the midwest of the U.S., though I travel elsewhere as often as possible. :) I keep a blog at Livejournal under the same name I use here -- many of my posts are locked, but not all, and I'm always willing to friend new people there. :) | |||||||||||
