Self introduction... kinda...
Err, What can I say about myself... I'm in University... I like Anime, Anything with Vampires, Fantasy, and even Romance. I work in a music store and actually play some myself too. Not too good, but I can still play, so can't really say much. I'm really looking forward to Key's Clannad going anime cuz from the looks of Air and Kanon, it's going to kick ass too...
I like Japanese and Greek food. Favorite snack food would be Pringles chips!
I really can't think of anything else to say about myself... haha...
The "I'll talk about my life" section
I've been writing four or five stories at once lately... I wonder why. Problem with this is, I can't seem to finish any one of them. Please save my heart is actually one of the stories that I started in the middle of revising the second arc of Destiny of the Magi that haunted me for a while. Then there are some that I don't think I'll be posting any time soon, but I guess you can keeps a heads up for some of them. But one I particularly like that I'm writing, and almost finished, is a piece I've tentatively named "Mastery". In my stories, I like to look at one aspect of something and then see where I can take it. For instance, in "Fears" I take the "Cat-fist" as the basis of the character Ranma and reconstruct him with that. With dreams and realities, I used the Curse. With "Mastery" I used Anything Goes itself as a basis of a story, more specifically the fanon version of it to make a story. It might be surprising to some of you, it might even make you reconsider throwing some of the more fan made ideas around.
I've been finding myself writing really bad stuff lately too... Maybe it's because I haven't been writing as much in general but it's really destroyed my confidence in my own work. Hopefully that will pass, mostly because the more bad stuff I right, the less I'll feel like continuing and I just end up doing something else. Hopefully I'll get myself back in gear and finish "Save my heart" and "Destiny of the Magi" soon.
Hmm Rant...
I guess I'll complain about cross-overs this time... Not that I have anything against them. Actually, some of my favorite stories ARE crosses. What I'm complaining about is cross-overs that just don't go anywhere. It's not so much cross-overs are bad, it's just that it's hard to make a GOOD cross-over and people are using this genre like it's... err... something very easy to use! I mean... come on guys, if you're writing a cross, at least make it so that it can have an actual plot line and not just... "Hi, I'm Ranma with this really awesome super power I got from some other anime, and guess what, I fucking hate you Akane!" or even "Oh fuck, I'm in another anime's plot line and I guess i'll screw it all up because my martial arts kicks everyone's collective asses!". USE A FUCKING PLOT LINE! I guess I'm not really complaining about cross-overs... I guess I'm just complaining about getting people to actually THINK ABOUT AN ACTUAL PLOT BEFORE WRITING!
Hmm... I should probably think before I rant too...
Locke's quote until next change: Would it KILL anyone to write and actual story with a PLOT nowadays...
