Author has written 15 stories for Evangelion, and Ranma. Self introduction... kinda... Err, What can I say about myself... I'm in University... I like Anime, Anything with Vampires, Fantasy, and even Romance. I work in a music store and actually play some myself too. Not too good, but I can still play, so can't really say much. I'm really looking forward to Key's Clannad going anime cuz from the looks of Air and Kanon, it's going to kick ass too... I like Japanese and Greek food. Favorite snack food would be Pringles chips! I really can't think of anything else to say about myself... haha... The "I'll talk about my life" section I've been writing four or five stories at once lately... I wonder why. Problem with this is, I can't seem to finish any one of them. Please save my heart is actually one of the stories that I started in the middle of revising the second arc of Destiny of the Magi that haunted me for a while. Then there are some that I don't think I'll be posting any time soon, but I guess you can keeps a heads up for some of them. But one I particularly like that I'm writing, and almost finished, is a piece I've tentatively named "Mastery". In my stories, I like to look at one aspect of something and then see where I can take it. For instance, in "Fears" I take the "Cat-fist" as the basis of the character Ranma and reconstruct him with that. With dreams and realities, I used the Curse. With "Mastery" I used Anything Goes itself as a basis of a story, more specifically the fanon version of it to make a story. It might be surprising to some of you, it might even make you reconsider throwing some of the more fan made ideas around. Had to attend my Grandmother's funeral. It was the first funeral I've attended, and it is not as I expected. I living in North America has changed my expectations of stuff, but my grandmother's funeral was not gloomy or anything like that you see in movies, I was quite surprised. Honestly, I'd think grandma would've liked us to not be TOO depressed, but well, can't really help it can we? But anyways, i guess this counts as a cultural shock too? Bah, I'm babbling... Hmm Rant... I think I'll rant about prologues. Yes, I'm ranting about Prologues. Why, you ask? Well, maybe because people DON'T KNOW WHAT A PROLOGUE IS! A prologue in terms of stories is a event, a short scene or even a introduction of the world/environment/backdrop of the story to help the reader get emmersed into the world of the story! It has little to nothing, I repeat, LITTLE TO NOTHING to do with THE ACTUAL PLOT! Showing the main character do something that starts the plot ISN'T A PROLOGUE! That should be your FIRST scene in your ACTUAL STORY! Prologues should be uses sparingly as they aren't neccassary! If you're still confused as to what a prologue is, watch an anime, for example, Macross Frontier! You know in the first couple of episodes where they tell you a short background of the Macross world, THAT is a prologue! If you still don't know what a prologue is. I suggest taking a creative writing course and ask the prof. 'Cause if you still don't know how to distingish between a prologue and the first scene, then, I hate to say this, fail as a writer, quit before i shoot you... seriously... thus end my rant..
