"If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all." ~Virginia Woolf

Because some people seem uncertain on wether or not to call me "dude" when they talk to me: Twenty-three. Female. Canadian.

Reviews are always welcome and definitely encouraged. I appreciate it every time someone sits down and takes the time to tell me they like my work, or to offer criticism. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside that makes it difficult to write gratuitous violence, but makes me happy nonetheless. My sincere thanks to everyone who has ever sent a kind word my way, or told me they think Sirius is totally bitchin' when I write him. You're all great.

December 30/07 ~ Finally. After the wedding, I have some time -- and some inspiration -- to sit down and write now that I've been refreshed from the honeymoon. Expect to see updates of Voracious and Neverwinter Nights in the next few days. I have a few chapters of Voracious that are almost ready to go, but need polishing first.
In-Depth Ongoing Story Summaries:

Secret Keeper (Harry Potter): Deep within the heart of a young man, something terrible grows. But was it always that way? Peter Pettigrew thinks of little else beyond scraping by in his studies and surviving the remaining school year, although he fears being left behind by his best friends; James Potter, whose own greatest wish has just come true, Sirius Black, who suddenly finds himself faced with the prospect of having to finally "grow up", and Remus Lupin, who has his own thoughts preoccupied with worries for the future. With the threat of Voldemort's growing power looming over Hogwarts, such things may seem trivial, but to James and his friends, any real effects of Voldemort's power seem distant and uninvolved with them. Something is about to happen that will change all that. An imagining of the events leading up to the first Potter book.

These Roads We Walk (Neverwinter Nights): When Undrentide fell from the sky with Heurodis finally vanquished, Twen found herself lost and alone with little else to do but contemplate on her losses. When the threat to Neverwinter was ended, Jezra discovered humanity's truly ugly side, and finds herself now nursing a blossoming disgust for people in general and wants nothing more than to be left to herself. One intrepid kobold is out searching for one of them, and is about to bring them all together, while one half-orc suddenly finds time to contemplate exactly what it is he wants out of life. But is it all being orchestrated by a stronger hand? One whose shadow will cover the path they walk for the rest of their lives?

Tycoon (The Fifth Element - upcoming): Before his death, Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg was a young man full of limitless potential . . . and ambition. But was it really his desire for power that lead him to his death? Or did something else finally push him over the edge? Chronicalling one man's downfall, from beginning to end.

Neverwinter Shorts (Neverwinter Nights): A very silly collection of clusters of paragraphs that hopefully combine to form something humorous. Who says you can't find the funny side in any situation?

Resident Evil - Voracious (Resident Evil): Just because you survive doesn't mean you get a happy ending. In an effort to smooth the strain on his marriage caused by recent events, Barry Burton takes his family to the secluded mountain tourist town of Rhodes. It should be idyllic; but he's about to discover a problem doesn't go away just because you change location. In fact, trouble often comes looking for you . . .

Vice City - The Time of Your Life (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City): When putting his nose to the grind every night gets unbearable, one man takes a chance and gives a ride to a young man in the pouring rain, and takes a walk on the wild side. A story in four parts about blood, guns, and the darker side of every working man.
