Hi, I'm Abigail! I write decently, though I wish I had better ideas, or more frequent ones. Alas.

If you ended up here somehow, it's probably because you like the fabulously random and inexplicable pairing of Severus Snape and Hermione Granger, affectionately known as SSHG! (Unless you happened upon my page because of Doctor Who, Love Actually, or Once - they are three of my favorite things.)

So, enjoy, and please review! It's nice to know people are reading, when I don't expect them to. Also, I will almost always reply to any review you give, especially if it's a one-shot. For longer stories, I'll reply to your comment at the beginning of the new chapter/section.

Severus Snape is my favourite character in the Harry Potter universe, possibly in literary history. I don't give his character enough justice, but, I do the best I can. If you think something seems off, let me know. Unless you're just going to say, "He would never be with Hermione; that's so disgusting; why would you do that" etc. See above: SSHG is inexplicable, but I love them.

Here are additional summaries because I like to ramble:

House Unity: This is my long story, the one I'm working on the most. Quite frankly, I'm terrible at writing long stories, because I always get bored about halfway through. Oh well! The chapters will all be random lengths, basically whenever I feel like a point has sorta/kinda been reached. Also, I'm terrible with titles, and this one is no different. It'll probably never change because I'll probably never not be terrible with titles (if that made sense to you, you're awesome), but oh well.

Touch: Um, a random bit of inspiration from Clay Aiken. Haven't listened to the old bloke in a while, and actually, I haven't listened to that song, I just copied the lyrics. It's rather bad, and a good mouthful of fluff, so, if you don't like that stuff, be warned. I did like this one, though, because the title was already written for me.

The Secret: Oh, this is a particularly terrible title. My apologies. Really, I was just being silly when I wrote this, not stuck-up, like it sort of sounds (or does to me, which is weird, because I know what it should sound like). I quite like it, even though it's very generalised.

Proving Innocence: This was originally just a fun idea I had, but it went a completely different direction. The 'idea' is explained in chapter six, for those who haven't read it yet. And, once again, I apologize for the title. It's quite simple and straightforward and boring.

Dance Party: Actually, I was able to fit my summary in there. Abbey is me, obviously, and Alexandra/Ally is my friend Hayley, who is awesome (and who always reads my stories before I post them). If You're Not the One: Um, the main summary basically explains it. I don't quite like this one, but I do, if that makes sense. It is SSHG and Snape is a little out of character. Hermione might be, too. But, I had the song stuck in my head, and parts of it reminded me of them, so, yes.

Die for You: My best friend gave me a link to Billy Redfield's myspace, and I became enthralled with this song. It's so simple and beautiful, and reminded me instantly of SSHG. So, I wrote a fic. This one is from Snape's viewpoint. There will be two more stories from his songs, one more Snape, and one from Hermione's viewpoint.

Learning How to Sleep: Oh, this might be the worst title yet. But, Hermione's habit is entirely parallel to mine. I have to do the same thing. It's rather annoying. I annoy myself, so I thought it'd be right of Hermione to think it'd bother Severus, too. I sort of like it though. I don't know if she would have a habit as such, but it seemed ok enough to do, and I thought of writing this EVERY SINGLE NIGHT as I did my little process, so I needed liberation. Anyway, that's far too much talk on such a short story.

A New Routine: Like the main summary says, it's just a follow up to LHtS. So many of you reviewed on that one, that I felt slightly obliged! Hope you enjoy it as much as the first. (Oh, and this title isn't too bad! I'm quite excited.)

The Magic of Baking: Well, this came about rather funnily. I finally got my friend, Hayley (sportsnightnut), to realise Slytherin really is the best house, and she said this, so I jokingly replied, "I've won you over to the dark side!" Then I added, "We have better funding... and cookies!" To which she replied, "It would be really funny if Snape baked cookies." Thus, this story was born. It's rather cute, and my Severus is remarkably in character, for the most part. Even the title isn't too bad. So, a good effort on my part. Enjoy it.

On a note relative to LHtS and ANR, I might be combining them, then just adding little one shot chapters every so often. The chapters may or may not be related to sleep, but it'll be just little "scenes from life," as it were. I like writing those.

Perfect: This song is also up on Billy Redfield's MySpace, link is up above. I rather like this one, in a way. Not much to say about it, that hasn't already been said, just check out the summary. There will be one more, I do believe, of these, from Severus's point of view, again.

Gratitude and Remembrance: DH spoilers, for the two people who haven't read the books or seen the movies yet. I really, really like this one, though. Do point out any mistakes, as it was written early (which is my excuse for why I did what I did, if something was ruined for anyone). Happy: Mostly all I had to say is said in the regular summary. This is the last of these. The song was a little hard to work around, but parts of it made me smile, so it was hard to resist writing a little fluff. Sev is pretty out of character... my apologies.
