Okay, okay. So, you people obviously wanna know SOMETHING about me, right?
You want the truth? Okay, well my name is Catherine, I live in Australia, I have two pet kangaroos named Skippy and Nutbush and a pet crocodile names Smorg. My sister is a hobbit, my brother is a toad, and I am half hinkypunk. For fun I hop through the marshes and lead poor lost souls along and then kill them with an icky squelching sound. One time, I got three people in one day!! I fed them to Smorg.
Then again, maybe not.
Well, I wasn't trying to be funny you will be pleased to know. That's really a mix of things from like my friends, and like in the book 'Finding Cassie Crazy', so yeah. Obviously, a hinkypunk is created by J.K. Rowling.
Okay, so the facts now.
I AM named Catherine and I DO live in Australia. I am also 16... surprising? No? Good. I do have a brother and a sister. My sister is addicted to fanfiction, thanks to yours truly, however, she will never have any clue that I write some, and personally, I would rather keep it that way, because I don't like people I know reading my work... I value their opinion and I don't think my work is that good, so I prefer that they don't read it - except two of my friends, Linden Winter and Misty Cherry (check out their stories!), have read my fic, so I guess I might be gaining some sort of faith in myself.
Okay, so I'm sorry to say that I haven't been a Harry Potter fan from the second that the first book came out. Rather, I became a fan when I was forced (yes, forced!) into reading the book when I was in Year Seven at school. Enough crap. So, I became a fan, read all the books, loved them, became obsessed at around the release of the Fourth Book, and the rest - as they say - is history!
So here I am, writing this biography of my life for you, on a site based on helping budding young authors who need that little push to make them realise they can make it. But in the meantime, they can hide out from public view, no-one really knowing who they are.
I hope this (stupidly long!) biography of me helped you gain some sort of insight into my obsession with Harry Potter.
Who knows where I will head after this? Perhaps I will find another topic to write about, and diversify!
I'm hoping to finish 'Eternally Yours' before Christmas this year, but I can't make promises. Then I will write a few shorter fics... debuts are always the biggest works of your life, because then you build up a band of loyal fans, so this fic is currently my life, and if my computer dies, I will kill it! And then I will spend a week mourning the loss of my story.
