Author has written 5 stories for Les Miserables, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I like to think of myself as the stunningly attractive artifically inseminated lovechild of Blanche DuBois and Eleanor of Aquitaine. Now, for some actually useful information: be wary of the dates of these fics. All of them I wrote when I was an attention-depraved raving fangirl. Not much has changed. Really though, five years has passed, and I'm pretty certain my writing's improved. (If you're a glutton for punishment, read some of my older fics and let me know if it has.) I've also learned the ancient Chinese art of patience, and understand that fics in which a Mary Sue falls for an angsty cannon protagonist (who isn't really cannon, since in the cannon he wouldn't really fall for anyone all) can't have a second chapter that ends in the "long-awaited" union. I am no longer a young grasshoper. And, even though I still aspire to the fanfic greatness that is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I roll with the big girls now. Ray Bradbury once said "you must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." So go on out there, ye faithful, pour yourself a "Live Vicariously Through Someone Inhumanly Beautiful Who Makes Out With Sirius Black"-tini, and enjoy. | |||||||||
