Hi, I’m Awe.

I’ve been writing fanfic for little over a year now and reading it for three. Slash is mostly what I read and write, and now I’ve limited my writing even further by falling into an obsession with Harry Potter slash that seems to be haunting me with no sign of disappearing any time soon (I don’t know whether to cry or laugh hysterically… perhaps both). What I write is pairing based slash, the pairings being Harry/Draco or Sirius/Remus, as (of course!) they belong with each other, and I won’t have anyone telling me otherwise (it’s a nice, comforting feeling, delusion, and I don’t want it to go away). I’m not too great with grammar and so love my betas very much. I don’t know how I’d get along without someone doing the editing (I’m not a very patient person).

My Fics:

A Mate – A thirteen-part Remus/Sirius romance that expands on the clichéd werewolf ‘mating’ situation where Remus has to find a mate before his time is up - literally. This story is slightly angsty and details the werewolf transition that ages the ‘child’ to an ‘adult’ (well, my version anyway). FINISHED! Yay! Done and done!

Oblivio Nex – Another chaptered romance fic, this time centred on Harry/Draco. This story is about how Harry and Draco act towards each other while they have no memory of the past, losing their memories through taking a potion called ‘Oblivio Nex’. As well as trying to regain their memories with the help of the Hogwarts staff they also have to deal with the past that they can’t remember but seems so important to everyone else. In some places it gets a little dark (definitely less ‘fluffy’ than the beginning) but there are still light moments. This is finished now!

Torture of the Unrequited Kind – A one-shot angst fic, Sirius/Remus. Written in Remus’ POV, here he ponders how something will never be his. This is slightly dark and was an experiment in writing emotion, the result of which I’m still uncertain about. Yet, it remains here for your pleasure, or not as the case may be.

I used to have an Angel/Spike fic, but unfortunately had to take it down because it made me cringe every time I so much as glanced at it. Sorry, but that’s how these things go.

For all of my stories I encourage any feedback (apart from flames, although they do amuse me). As for updating I admit I’m terrible at that, but now that ‘A Mate’ and ‘Oblivio Nex’ have been finished I’m going to write up a post HBP Harry/Draco, Sirius/Remus novel (something I’ve been toying with for a while) and with that I hope to be a little more structured with updates.

I love reading romance slash where the pair first gets together. I enjoy humour and dark fics and really like long chaptered stories. I am also an unabashed mpreg supporter - it intrigues me, what can I say? And I love deep and meaningful fics that make my eyes glaze over with wonder or fics that just make me squee (believe me, I do an embarrassing amount of that while I’m reading!)
