Welcome, fellow Fanfictioners...Thanks for reading my stories and being interested enough in me to come look me up!
As you may already know, I enjoy writing Harry Potter Fanfiction, mainly about the Weasley twins. They are definitely my favourite characters in the series and I have a lot of fun writing about them.
I support the usual J.K. Rowling-induced ships: Harry/Ginny...Ron/Hermione...James/Lily...etc. but I rarely read anything unless it involves the Weasley twins (although I also have a soft spot for Oliver Wood, Cedric Diggory and Bill and Charlie Weasley).
Here's my favourite Harry Potter characters to read and write about (not really in any particular order):
Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Cedric Diggory, Oliver Wood, Bill Weasley, Charlie Weasley. My favourite female characters (although I enjoy making up my own) are Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet.
There are a few ships I don't support:
Fred or George with anyone but Katie or an OC (I especially hate them paired with Hermione...yuck). I can handle Fred/Angelina only if it's written well...same goes for George/Alicia.
I can't stand slash stories or a teacher/student pairing.
...Other than that I can stomach almost anything, as long as it's written well.
I'm also a huge Twilight fan (like almost 100 percent of females in my age group). When it comes to Twilight I don't like too much stray from the books. I'm very much a Bella and Edward shipper. Same goes for Carlisle/Esme, Jasper/Alice, Emmett/Rosalie...and of course there's Jacob, but I don't want to say anything for fear of ruining it for anyone who hasn't finished reading Breaking Dawn.
I've never written anything Twilight related, although I've kicked the idea around for a while now. I think I idolize the books a little too much to act on it right now. I don't feel comfortable messing around with those characters--they're a little beyond me.
My Stories
Untitled -CSI (On Hiatus)
My first and only attempt at a CSI fanfiction. I absolutely love the show and had a small love affair with Greg Sanders (by small I mean HUGE) and I wanted to write something that wasn't Sara/Greg or Nick/Greg. It isn't complete because I entered a major writer's block and haven't been able to get back into it.
Band-aid- Harry Potter (complete)
I absolutely love this story. When I wrote it (about three or four years ago) I thought it was going to be a part of my Fred/Juliet series, but I thought it worked well as a one-shot.
Strange Things Come in Threes-Harry Potter (complete)
This story was the beginning of my Fred/Juliet series and has been the mark of my love affair with Fred Weasley. I've grown so much as a writer since I wrote the first chapter that I've felt the urge to go back fix up the earlier chapters. I have a feeling I'll be forever altering my stories. Now that this story is complete, I'm currently working on the sequel (And the Plot Thickens), and I think my writing is still improving. The second part of the story is much better than the first (in my opinion) and I'm hoping, if time allows, to finish the sequel and even carry the story out until the end of J.K. Rowling's books. But I'm not making any promises. We'll see how it goes.
I've slowly been going through and editing this story, starting with chapter 1, and I'm doing my best to make it sound even better than I did when I originally wrote it. I've also begun giving titles to my chapters, as I hadn't done that previously. So, as of right now, the ones that have proper titles have gone through this editing process, and the ones that are still labelled numerically have not.
And the Plot Thickens-Harry Pottter (in progress)
This is the sequel to Strange Things Come in Threes. I personally think that this story is much better than my first, and I think the third, fourth and fifth part of my story are going to be even better than the first two. I only hope I'll be able to write it all out and post it up here, as I think they get better as my ideas go on. Who knows what will happen. If you liked Strange Things Come in Threes, you'll like this one (hopefully more), and if you haven't read this first story, you should read it before starting this one.
I Love George Weasley - Harry Potter (complete)
This is a story I thought of during the Valentine's Day spirit. After focussing on Fred for so long I had an extreme urge to write something about George. Writing about Fred's off-putting behaviour in And the Plot Thickens has only increased my love for the second twin...thus, this story was born. It's also my first attempt at writing anything that doesn't include an OC!
Secrets - Harry Potter (complete)
Another one-shot I created due to feeling bored with my main story. This time it's Katie/Fred. Just a cute little story that's not quite mushy enough to make you gag ;)
A Lifetime - Harry Potter (in progress)
My love affair for Cedric has finally broke free into its own story...I just hope I'll be able to keep up with writing two chapter stories at once. Who knows how long I'll last?
Cuddling - Harry Potter (complete)
Not much to say about this one. Just another one of my love-for-Fred-induced stories that spilled from my brain late one night when I couldn't sleep (fitting, I know).
Other:
I haven't had much time to write any stories other than my current Fred/OC series, but I have had more ideas. I've been hesitant about writing anything too lengthy because I really want to focus on my Juliet/Fred story. It's my first priority right now, but I may have a few one-shots up just to fill up my need to write something different.
I've removed all of my Oliver stories from the site, mostly because I had hit a snag with all of them and couldn't stand continuing. I'm working on tweaking and completing an Oliver story that I can put up here, but its a slow process. All of you Oliver fans out there may have to wait for a while.
I've also been kicking around the idea of writing something Twilight related. I do read Twilight fanfictions, and I'd like to give writing it a try, but in all honesty I'm kind of afraid of mucking it up. I think I may idolize Stephenie Meyer too much to have a go at writing about her characters. We'll see what happens.
As well, I'm assuming anyone who is reading this is either a fan of Fred, George or Oliver, considering they are the characters I most often write about, so you might want to check out my C2 group I've got started. It's devoted entirely to stories I've read and enjoyed (including my own) that focus around either Fred, George, or Oliver. It's called Flaming Hair and Quaffles, and the stories there may tide you over until I get my own updated as well. :)
I promise to review every story I read, whether I like it or not, and I do my best to write something more meaningful than "Good chapter, update soon!". I only wish I could reply to every review I get like some of you authors out there. Nevertheless, I appreciate every single review I get from you guys, no matter how long ago I wrote the story. Thanks.
