Author has written 2 stories for Godzilla.

About me, eh? How boring.

I'm way too old to be writing fanfic, and especially not fanfic about Godzilla. Yes, you're only as old as you feel, but I feel old. ;) I'm sure there are people out there who are even older, but I haven't met any of them. How old am I? Don't ask a lady her age. ;)

Ever since the fourth grade, I've been a fan of Godzilla. I recall making a fired-clay statuette of the Big G in my art class. I also remember seeing some of the early films at drive-in theaters. My school even showed the original Mothra in the auditorium, along with Disney's Living Desert. Being a military brat, we traveled a lot, and I didn't rediscover Godzilla until the 90s. I'd never seen the Heisei movies at all, so those were a welcome surprise. Except that they killed him off in Goji vs. Destroyah. :(

It was the Heisei movies that most influenced me, as can be seen from the stories I've published here and others I haven't. It may seem shallow, but I liked the looks of him. I also liked the concept of Godzilla as a force of nature, not the silliness of the Showa series or the active malice of the GMK movie. He also seemed to have more of a personality and reacted with a measure of rationality in some cases. Godzilla 2000 met with my approval, except for his looks. So did Tokyo SOS (didn't see Goji Against MechaGodzilla). Final Wars was a disappointment in its overemphasis on the human part of things as well as the brevity of the fights, but there were some things I liked about it.

So I made my own vision of who and what Godzilla is, and that's reflected in my stories. He's not just a dumb animal lumbering around and breaking things, but a reasoning if primitive being, the last of his kind except for Junior.

Godzilla isn't the only fandom I'm in. There's also Transformers, Knight Rider, Farscape, Harry Potter, and Inuyasha.
