Author has written 16 stories for Mission: Impossible, Dark Angel, Lord of the Rings, Beyblade, Without a Trace, Gundam Wing/AC, O.C., CSI, and Smallville.

Name: RiseAgainPhoenix. Can be shortened to Phe (which would be pronounced ‘fee’) if you’re my friend. My penname is actually the CKC registered name of my golden retriever. Yes, I love my dog that much.

Location: Only the best country in the entire world. (For the uninformed, that’s CANADA.)

Languages I speak: Chinese, English, semi-fluent French

Favourite colour: A darkish, chrome-y, shiny blue. And gray. People always look at me funny when I say my favourite colour’s gray. Silver is nice too…mainly because it’s just a shiny form of gray.

Favourite bands, in no particular order: mb20, Placebo, Fall Out Boy, Great Big Sea, Sum 41, Out of Your Mouth, Yellowcard, MCR, Bad Religion, Holly McNarland(although she's not technically a band. I'm sure you're all appalled by this inaccuracy.)

Favourite classical music, in no particular order: anything byDebussy, Tchaikovsky's1812 Overture and Sleeping Beauty, Borodin's Prince Igor, Borodin, Satie's 3 Gymnopedies, Bizet'sLes Pecheurs dePerles, Puccini's Madame Butterfly (okay, the last two are actuallyoperas. Again, I'm sure you're just appalled.)

And as a special bonus: “The Last Samurai” soundtrack has to be heard to be believed. It’s about a trillion times better than the actual movie.

Favourite books, in no particular order: Chuck Palahniuk's “Fight Club,” Margaret Atwood's “Oryx and Crake,” Douglas Adams's “A Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,”Jamie O'Neill's “At Swim, Two Boys,” James Joyce's "Ulysses" and "Dubliners," Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures ofKavalier and Clay," Jules Feiffer's "The Man in the Ceiling,"and all of Robert Browning's poems. (Poems come in a book, okay? So you can't be appalled this time.)

Favourite movies, in no particular order: Fight Club, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Wonder Boys, Waydowntown, Hamlet 2000, Amélie, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Shaun of the Dead

I blame the following males for my partial heterosexuality: Gale Harold (if I had a choice between world peace and licking him, I might actually choose to lick him), Rob Thomas, Jensen Ackles, Fabrizio Filippo, Karl Urban (I'm not even sure why, but seeing him with a gun makes me hot and bothered), John Stallings

I blame the following females for my partial homosexuality: Penelope Cruz (she destroys me), Marisol Maldonado Thomas, Keira Knightly, Devon Aoki, Michelle Monaghan, Audrey Tautou (So. Cute.)

Five things I believe in:
-Anything worth doing is worth doing well. And if it's not worth doing, don't do it.
-You can handle anything life throws at you if you have a dog to help you.
-The WTO is an evil, evilorganization thatfeeds onthe blood of the poor and exploits the ignorance ofthe rich. It also supports the killing of endangered marine life.
-The idea of organized religion is morally reprehensible.
-Art is the life's blood.
