Brindabella is 21, proudly West Australian and an avid fan of Blue Heelers. She lives at home, works two jobs, goes to uni, and is saving hard to go overseas in 2009.

Brindy loves to write Heelers fanfics as they are fun to write and consume her totally sometimes with how she can make a whole new world for the characters. She loves fanfic writing probably also because she is lazy and loves that the characters and settings are already figured out for her.

Brindabella used to write hardcore fics (ie fics with a crime related plotline and some good old fashioned swearing and gun battles), and still does occasionally, but in the last year or two she has slipped and done a few fluff pieces of which she equally loves. A dedicated MaggiePJ follower to this day she has a lot of trouble writing this couple because they are so long gone so often turns her attentions to Amy and Alex, as unrealistic as these two are as a couple if you go by what was aired on tv. But that's the magic of fanfiction - and that's why Brindy loves it.

Brindy also has recently gotten back into Water Rats in a big way and it reminded her how much of a fan of Frank and Goldie she is. Dammit why did Goldie have to die! Other shows Brindabella loves to watch include Sea Patrol, Frontline, According to Jim, The Chaser, The Late Show, Forensic Investigators, Everybody Loves Raymond, Blackjack and pretty much any other Aussie drama (except McLeods and H&A). She misses the nineties when TV was good, filled with great dramas (ohhh for Halifax and The Man From Snowy River!) and brilliant comedy (she misses Frontline and The Late Show terribly!). She wishes the Working Dog crew would bring back The Panel and do more than just make Thank God You're Here. She lives for mini series' like Blackjack and After the Deluge and loves that these are coming back 'in'.

On the life side Brindabella is private and slightly scarred and often life has let her down. It has not stopped her from having big dreams though. Brindabella is the pen name she uses to write with and it gives a name to the double life she leads with her writing. Responsible people in her life think she will make a career out of writing - Brindabella is not so sure. First she is going to see the world and live off bread and water if she has to, and only when she absolutely must will she find a real job. And not until then will she know what kind of job that will be. Brindabella knows the value of money more than most people and works hard for what money she earns. But she knows that money cannot buy you happiness. She never thought it could anyway.

So in the meantime she waits tables and makes coffee, slacks off at uni and sleeps in every chance she gets. She writes fanfics and gets ideas for them from the oddest of places. She listens to music every single day, and it inspires and encourages her in more ways than one. She misses her childhood but looks forward to the future and the big plans she has for it.
