Hmmm... What to say? What to say... It's so difficult to make good first impressions...
Let's start with a name... What I go by on this site is Hearts of Eternity, my original pen name for this site. For a short, short while I was Thorn Queen, as is my pen name on DeviantART and the title for many other accounts I have. I thought that I would be content to change my pen name here to Thorn Queen, but I found, quite unexpectedly, that I had grown attached to the name Hearts of Eternity. In the end, after a few days of being the queen of thorns, I shed the title and took of the mantle of being Hearts of Eternity once more. I'm relieved to be myself again.
I do have a few pics posted on DevART, so if anyone's curious to see one crazed writer's doodlings, go ahead and take a peek: http://thornqueen.deviantart.com/
I've been a writer on this site for a few years now, and I can honestly say that it has been a pleasure writing my stories and posting them here. I have never found the same gratification anywhere else that i receive from posting a new chapter and getting to read all the reviews that are left by such kind and considerate readers. The reviews are certainly what makes it all worth while My endeavours to write and get published in the real world may be a little more difficult, but I can always count on the unfailing welcome of FF.net to make me feel good about myself and my writing.
Quite especially I would like to give a shout out to three amazing writers on FF.net, who also happen to be three amazing friends I've made on this site:
Litahatchee- author of the amazing, and on-going, Transformers story Night Fire
lady tecuma- author of such works as the Transformers stories Sparks and Plasma, Intimacy, and System of a Down
Violetlight- author of a beautiful story entitled Vapour Trails
I highly encourage anyone who is interested in Transformers fiction to check these wonderful writers out. Their stories are enough to blow your minds away. They have it all; plot, character, imagery, and a whole lot of life infused into every word written. Sufficed to say, these writers have a mastery of the art of writing and looking them up is something that you would never regret!
Of my own works, I have but a handful written. There are others waiting in the wings to be posted, but this is just a list of fics that are actually up:
Links in a Chain- Card Captor Sakura. Complete. There is actually a sequal being written for it by the name of "An Angel's Scream, A Devil's Cry." The author has contacted me about it and I am assisting with the project, reading and revising the chapters that he sends me. I encourage everyone who has been interested in Links in a Chain to check out the story- which can be found on redx117's account.
Wanting- Danny Phantom. One-shot
Exposed- Danny Phantom. One-shot
During the Night- Danny Phantom. One-shot

As We Come Together- Transformers. Sequel to What Time We Have Left. In progress now. Part Two of the WE continuality
One-shot and ficlet expansion fics part of the WE continuality. These are designed to give readers a better grasp of who some of the characters are and what has transpired in the past to make them who they are today in the WE universe. If you want to know more about a single character in the WE series, just find their one-shot, and if they don't have one, you can request it!
When Heaven Fell- A look at what transpired after Punch left Flamewar in the dust and her subsequent fall from the 'Cons into Virus's clutches.
What's it feel like to be a Ghost?- A glimpse into Sunstreaker's spark through the optics of his brother, Sideswipe.
Make Me Feel- A glimpse into the life of Prowl and the logical world he so desperately clings to.
Looking Glass Self- A mech who's looking in the mirror and can't decide who's looking back; Punch or Counterpunch.
A Handful of Frozen Time- Arcee is grasping at grains of time as they slip through her fingers; she's in love with Bumblebee, but she knows her time with him is running short.
Before I Fade Away- Sunstreaker looking back at his brother and finally remembering why he's so important to him.
Also, just for simplicity's sake, I'm going to use this biopage for my gains and post a gender rant/explanation thingy here so it doesn't have to take up so much room in one of my chapters:
A gosh-darn needed rant about gender. It just so happened to get stuck here: I have never been comfortable of thinking of the Transformers with sexes since they are mechanical beings and the very definition of a sex is a biological concept. It just seems weird to me that a species whose only way of reproduction is through the Allspark would have differing “male” and “female” sexes since there would be absolutely no point to having them. Gender, on the other hand, is a socially constructed idea of “femininity” and “masculinity,” which easily could have been introduced to the Transformers through contact with organic species who did have differing sexes/genders. They may have adopted the “male” and “female” genders as a social novelty, thinking of it as a new fad to toss around. Following that line of thinking, as the idea of “male” and “female” became more cemented in the Transformer culture, some began to think of the femme (and many of the microbot) frames as “female” since the default settings to the frames often reflected “feminine” attributes, such as a higher pitched voice. That doesn’t mean that being a femme or microbot automatically makes you a “female” though, since Blaster, Perceptor, and Frenzy are all microbots in this continuality and are all obviously “male.”
But, with all this, it begs the question of why is there a “Femme Division” in both the Autobot and Decepticon forces? I explain by the initial purpose of the different frames before gender was applied. “Mech” frames are for strength and power, “minibot” are smaller, meant for more specialized work, and then “femmes” are designed to be streamlined versions of mech and minibot, capable of all functions they are, but possess increased speed, agility, reaction time, and the better ability to carry out minute tasks. If a division needs something done but can’t send in a hulking mech, or even a minibot, they appeal to the femmes to get it done. Lastly are microbots, which are basically as minute as you can get; best for the most extreme situations when the utmost delicacy must be taken, or else that particular bot didn’t want to reformat into any size larger from their sparkling/youngling frame since microbot frames are in the same range as youngling frames.
