The Sparky Army declares 2008 to be the Year of the Spark!! As such, I probably won't be posting much through my account, but I will be posting a lot through Sparky Army. Please go there, read the fantabulous stories, and support sparky!
I write sporadically, so the stories here are a little, uh, random. I wasn't doing anything for a while, but I've started to again, writing Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I don't think I'll be picking up Inuyasha again. If you're interested in seeing what I've been working on outside of my limited fandom, check out my fictionpress username (Myriadragon), as well as the joint writing club account I run (The Writing Circle). And if any of you are interested in joining TWC, send an email to thewritingcircle@gmail.com. We'd love for you to join!
Hm, about me...I am now an adult in the eyes of the law, which is pretty damn hilarious until you realize that I'm the responsible and well-adjusted one. The world is doomed. Anyway, I'm a freshman and potential astro major at one of those snooty east-coast colleges, which is always interesting for an obscenely liberal, midwestern pagan like me. I like to read, write, act, draw...though life has a habit of getting in the way of all of that. My non-humor fics often have a bit of a metaphysical leaning. I'm a hideous romantic and shipper, but I also love friendship stories that explore the dynamic between two characters, and I'm always up for humor. I HATE slashing (nothing against yaoi/yuri in general (in fact I'm rather fond of the former); just hate slashing of characters who are straight), and, for that matter, non-canon pairings (except, perversely, McCadman, which is probably due to Techie's influence). So I don't read them or write them. Sparky, Spanky, Jam all the way!
FINISHED WORKS
Double O Demon (Inuyasha)
Finished, and I hate it. My first fan fiction ever.
Healing (Stargate Atlantis)
Angsty Sateda post-ep that grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go. Fairly pleased with it, despite the fact that it mostly ran away with itself.
Heartsick (Inuyasha)
MS oneshot. Fluffy, but not too bad.
Mother(Stargate Atlantis)
Sparky oneshot told through the eyes of Colonel Caldwell. Kind of drabble-y.
Superzombie to the Rescue! (Superman)
Okay, nothing I think of crashing between adrenaline rushes waiting in line at Six Flags should ever be turned into a story. But somehow it happened, and thus SZ was born. One-shot; humor. Lots of humor. And Myriad's stupidity.
To Be Embraced by a Tender Peice of Air (Cymbeline)
Stupid post-play oneshot; only makes sense if you're one of the three people on the planet who's seen Cymbeline (which is actually a very good play).
The Resurrection of Carson Beckett (Stargate Atlantis)
Written for BiteMeTechie's story When Plot Bunnies Attack. Goofy Sue nonsense, but I like it.
Unspoken (Stargate Atlantis)
Bit of a comfort-angst-I-love-you-but-I-won't-admit-it moment I thought up in Vienna.
Wardrobe Malfunction (Stargate: SG-1)
Silly bit of fluff about Apophis. I think it's amusing, which is rare for me...
THE GRAND PLAN FOR FUTURE WRITING (highly subject to change at will of plot llama)
Different (working title; best of a thousand really, really bad ones) (Stargate: Atlantis)
My Xmas/Yule present for my best friend, the -choke- McShep shipper, and for my girls in Astrantia's Sparky forum. Won't say too much here, but it contains McShep, a hell of a lot of Sparky (to balance it out), and a half-blind Elizabeth.
--some scribbles and a plan--I'll get around to it eventually, I swear. Maybe during my fantabulous five-week winter break.
Natural (working title) (Stargate:Atlantis)
NMT Vol 1. The Atlantis team and the Tarn. And the Tarun. Sparky drama/action/adventure. I've been trying to do this for a year, with very little progress, so it probably will never see the light of day. And if it does, the title will probably change.
--Prologue and Ch. 1 complete; working on Ch. 2 of unknown number (probably at least 20). Still need to edit.
I got a review request for more of Wardrobe Malfunction, and while I'm not promising anything, I may come up with something for one of the other Goa'uld if inspiration strikes. Hathor looks promising.
Also considering something with Sheppard and Larrin from "Travelers." Yes, shippy. Trust me. It'll work out sparky, if I actually do it.
