About the reviewer:

Bitter Green Tea is a biochemical engineering student whose love for fanfiction (and procrastination) has led her to create this account. She's not a writer but more of a 'random but not-so-anonymous' lurker who likes to read and review fics. She's been around the fandoms she loves for a very, very, very long time so needless to say, she has read quite the collection of fanfics - the good, the bad, and the unimaginable literal train-wrecks.

Bitter Green Tea is also extremely picky with what she reads. Her preference lies in well-written fics with depth (not to mention whatever pairing she's fangirling for). She makes it a habit of running at the first sign of OOC-ness or Mary Sue/Gary Stu.

About reviewing:

Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming amount of work she is buried in, Bitter Green Tea no longer writes as many concrits and reviews as she did in the past. Reviews are now written randomly whenever the mood strikes her for stories that (mostly) lie in these following cases:

1) The story in question is beautifully written, has depth and is unfinished. A review is written so that Bitter may keep track of when it is being updated.

2) The story in question is beautifully written, has depth but has a small amount of reviews. In this case, Bitter feels that the author/authoress deserves to know that s/he did an amazing job.

3) The story is simply godawful to the point where Bitter cannot ignore.

Case 3 is a really rare case. It takes energy to type out a semi-intelligent review justifying why the fic is awful (as well as drafting a list of its weaknesses) instead of simply typing "IT SUX0RSSS!1 I HATE U!!11." Since Bitter likes to come across as someone with an intelligence and maturity level well above that of a pre-pubescent child, she makes sure the reviews she writes are of some quality, dubious as that might be. Most of of the time however, Bitter just can't find it in her to give enough of a damn. She is more likely to take the lazy way out - quickly hit backspace and erase the godawfulness from the recesses of her mind.

About my favourites:

Saved under favourites is the stuff that I have dubbed as 'fics made of awesome and win'. Keep in mind that I am a yaoi fangirl so male/male pairings are a given though if you squint hard enough, you'll see a general, no pairing fic here and there.

My heart will always have a special place for FF7, X/1999 and Gravitation so don't be surprised to see an overwhelming amount of fics saved in favourites that come from these fandoms.

I'm also a sucker for Tatsuha from Gravitation but alas, well-written fics that are focused on him are hard to come by.
