Summer's over. =( Which means school is back and time for updates is at an all time low. I'm still trying (slowly) to update Change Happens or Ambitions, and sometimes both. I like writing fics for my own enjoyment and amusement and to take the pressure off creating my own fiction with my own characters. When I grow up, I want to marry Draco Malfoy. My fave matchups are Hermione/Draco and Starfire/Robin and probably others I'm too tired to type out. My stories on this site are pretty clean, but I'm open to anything, including slash and noncon and anything else you can type up and call a fic.

I haven't written that much yet, but just you wait and see. My stories tend to move a bit slowly, with much dialogue and description advancing the plot. I'm more focused on character development and relationships than anything. I actually do long plot outlines before I begin each story and then work from there, so sorry in advance if a chapter cuts off at a cliffhanger or seems inextricably short/long. Reader comments help me figure out how long/short the chapters should be and often how the story should go, too. I usually write either one-shots or uberlong stories, not much in between, but I can experiment. =)

About the stories...

Ambitions was my first fic ever, and it shows. This story is what really happened (says me) at Hogwarts. Thus, most of the plot will fit into the cracks in Rowling's original plot. I just love the concept of it though...Hermione coming into Hogwarts full of ambition but still confused when suddenly so many attractive boys show up as potential boyfriends...It's going pretty slow right now, but the plot for this story is incredibly detailed and intricate. Or it will be, if we ever get to any action. (Which we will soon, I promise!)

Change Happens is my favorite fic of mine at the moment. It's listed as Hermione/Draco, but really, if you have read it, you know it's a bit on the fencepost between Herm/Draco and Herm/Harry. Which is as it should be. The small details will be super important to the plot later and the ending may be a tad bit surprising, to say the least. It will probably make half of you incredibly happy and the other half terribly, terribly unhappy.

Promise? is this random thing I wrote for English. It's a parody of paperback romance novels and showcases Hamlet and Ophelia. There's a lot of humor that you'll get if you've read the play.
