Author has written 45 stories for Legend of Zelda, Harry Potter, National Treasure, Pearls Before Swine, Twilight, A Knight's Tale, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, and House, M.D..

Hey House season five, we already let you finish, and we're real happy for you, but we just wanted to say that seaosn six is shaping up to be the best season of all time. OF ALL TIME!!

HI!

Basic info in the form of various adjectives and appositives...

Girl. College freshman! Band nerd of the trombone, sousaphone, and baritone variety (aka low brass) who marches cymbals in indoor drumline. Kind of introverted without a pen. Clumsy. Libertarian. Pillow hugger. Nearly incapable of sounding orally articulate on a regular basis. Amused by puns. Humanist. Shunner of horror movies. Namer of inanimate objects. Grammarian. Full of movie/TV quotes. Crossword puzzle enthusiast. Uncomfortable in crowds. Speaker of French. Addicted to Wheat Thins, chocolate covered pretzels, and pomegranates. Hyperactive or quiet depending on the mood. Slightly insane.

Of course, my friends just apply one adjective: "ridiculous." I'm not really sure what that's supposed to mean.

That's me in a nutshell...a peanut shell, to be precise.

Current favorites, in case you're curious or something...
Book: Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. It's f-ing brilliant.
Author: Chuck Palahniuk. He's just as f-ing brilliant as his novels.
Actor: Robert Sean Leonard...I'm a little madly in love with him. (Justin Bartha and Paul Bettany are close seconds.)
Movie: Dead Poets Society (yes, National Treasure, you have been debunked.)
Band: The Killers
TV show: House MD (you really shouldn't have been expecting anything else.)

ABOUT MY FICS/OTHER ASSORTED NOTES

I write a lot of oneshots.
Most of my multi-chapter fics die before chapter two...before they're even posted.
I like to incorporate predictions/theories into my fics on occasion.
I love drama/angsty friendship and romance.
If it doesn't fall into the above category, be prepared for crack!fic.
Bromances rock my multicolored socks. (House and Wilson? Ben and Riley? HELL YEAH.)
I don't write smut, but I will be suggestive if need be.
Most of my ships are some form of slash.
And speaking of ships, House/Wilson is my OTP.
I respect good writing and original plots.
I REVIEW STUFF. FEAR ME! (Or not. Not fearing works well, too.)
In those reviews, I try to point out what worked and anything that didn't.
Being in character for non-parody fics is a minor obsession of mine.
Sidekicks are my best buddies...but here's a more specific list...
FAVORITE PEOPLE BRIGADE:
Dr. James Wilson (House MD)
Riley Poole (National Treasure)
Neil Perry (Dead Poets Society)
Geoffrey Chaucer (A Knight's Tale)
Spock (Star Trek)
Dr. Jonathan Crane (Batman Begins/Dark Knight)
Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter)
Seely Booth (Bones)
Kratos Aurion (Tales of Symphonia)
Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)
L/Ryuzaki (Death Note)

Anti-Pairings:
Ben x Ian
MARY SUE x ANYBODY! (What has happened to this fandom?!)
Other fun non-romance relationships:
Riley/Ben friendship

The agents as a whole
(Though I enjoy both, I prefer Briley friendship to Briley romance.)

House MD
Other fave people: House, Taub, and FREEDOM MASTER.
Not a fan of: Amber, Vogler, Stacy, Tritter, Cameron, and (as of season six) Foreman.
Episodes I love: Birthmarks, The Social Contract, Safe, No Reason, Act Your Age, Alone, All In, Wilson's Heart, Son of Coma Guy, A House Divided, Last Resort Epic Fail, The Tyrant
Pairings:
House x Wilson (THIS WILL BE CANON EVENTUALLY. DON'T DOUBT IT.)

Cuddy x Lucas (It's not just crack!fic anymore!!)
Anti-Pairings:
House x Cameron
House x Chase
Foreman x Thirteen
I enjoy the chemistry but do NOT completely support a relationship between:
House x Thirteen (They have something in common, unlike Hameron. The ages make it weird.)
House x Cuddy (It won't work, and I will be laughing so hard when they break it off.)
Kutner x Taub (I'm not totally convinced. If only Kutner had stayed a little longer!)
Other fun non-romance relationships:
House/Wilson friendship (too cute even in friendship fluff!)
Kutner/Taub friendship
Cuddy and Vogler
House and Lucas
House and Alvie or Freedom Master
(HILSON FTW! EXCUSE MY METAPHORICAL POM-POMS!)

Neil x Todd (It's cute, in a fanon way.)
Anti-Pairings:
None.
Other fun non-romance relationships:
Neil and Todd friendship
Neil/Todd and Mr. Keating

Bones
Not a fan of: CAM. She makes me go all frowny face. (There seems to be a pattern here.)
Episodes I love: The Man on the Fairway, The Man in the Morgue, The Graft in the Girl...I just started watching. :P
Pairings:
Brennan x Booth (duh.)
Anti-Pairings:
Booth x Cam (end of The Girl in the Game...I started shouting at the TV. Very fun.)
Other fun non-romance relationships:
Brennan and Angela (I'm a sucker for friendship fluff.)
Brennan and Russ
Zack, in general.
(Whenever any actual medical problems arise (S4 finale, The Graft in the Girl, etc.) the first thing out of my mouth is "Wouldn't have happened at Princeton-Plainsboro!" Yeah. I know. I can't help it.)

Anti-Pairings:
Will x Kate

Harry Potter
Not a fan of: Umbridge
Favorite books: Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows
Pairings:
Dumbledore x McGonagall

Dumbledore x Grindelwald

Thoughts on Slash: Don't hate. Hate is what drive's the world's chaos; a little love, in whatever form it takes, could do us all some good. So yes, if you couldn't guess from the above, I like slash, alongside het and canon and gen and whatnot.

My Life in Quotes:

"Don't deflect. He cares about you, you care about him. Tell him you love him!" (Hallucinated!Amber fussing at House...ABOUT WILSON. -fangirly explosion- Please see Under My Skin, season five episode 23, for details. Take that Huddy. Take THAT.)

"When life gives you lemons, make grape juice and let the world wonder how you did it." (no idea who said this)

"If my dad named me Goneril, I'd want to kill him too!" (someone in my English class, referring to King Lear)

"Kal Penn went to work for Obama? So...that means no more Harold and Kumar movies and no more Dr. Kutner. All right, where's my health care?" (my cousin)

(The night Michael Jackson died...)
Manager: Why did she want you to go out to her car?
Me: She found that Michael Jackson song she was telling me about whose name she just now remembered.
Manager: What was it, "I am a paedophile" or something along those lines?

"There are three main theories about the existence of dark matter ... and the third one is rather controversial. This theory says that Mewtwo creates it all. See, it's a psychic Pokémon and very agressive, so...it makes sense." (classmate giving his end-of-the-year physics presentation, "Dark Matter and the Connection to Dark Magic." BEST. EVER.)

"This is my impression of Foreman on the saddest day of his life." -blank face- "And...the happiest day of his life." -blank face- (Taub!)

While watching the new Star Trek...
Captain Pike: (walks on screen)
Elizabeth: It's the same actor who played the president in National Treasure!
Me: (stares, looks at her then the movie) Huh. Intergalactic space travel...so THAT'S the secret of page 47.
-I went to see this with her instead of going to prom. I am so win.

Lawyer: You shot at an unarmed man--
Bones: HE WAS TRYING TO SET ME ON FIRE!

Thirteen: (watches House leave, looks back at Kutner) Why are you still alive?
Kutner: I don't know.
Thirteen: I guess he's pretty impressed that you stood up to him like that...and got a cat to pee in his chair.
Kutner: Yeah...a cat...

Cameron: (motions to phone) Who was that?
House: Angelina Jolie. I call her mom. Who thinks that's sexy?

"I mean...just look at those saxophones over there. They're made of brass, but they use reeds. Filthy mudbloods..." (band friend)

Me: (while watching the movie The Rock) OH MY GOD! Ed Harris is the bad guy and Nicolas Cage is the good guy! THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!
Dad: Yeah, in your world.

"He went on a rant about how The Dark Knight was a call to...uh, put Republicans back in Congress. And he said that it was so obvious that anyone who didn't see it was an idiot. So basically, he called me and everyone I know an idiot. But I don't know why my teacher was even talking about it. A, it was LATIN class, and B, just, just...NO!" (Ross, on the crazy new Latin teacher...and I can attest to that. I've sat in on one of his lectures. He yells, dances, sings, cries, and...lord. It's a sight.)

"Every time I hear him speak, I want to throw my TV out the window. But then I remember that I paid a lot of money for my TV, so I wouldn't really like that. I still hate him." (my government teacher)

"I think that's a load of splhhh! And you can quote me; that's a techincal term." (also my government teacher)

"I hate to talk about the democratically-elected leader of a sovereign nation like this...but I love me some crazy...as long as it's not my president." (government teacher again...this class gets VERY interesting.)

Gov teacher: For your economics project, no wealthy relatives, no trust funds, no winning the lottery, and you can't be anything illegal like a drug dealer--
Classmate: I prefer the term "street corner entrepreneur."

Shane: We're doing this development lab in AP bio with zebra fish since it only takes the eggs two days to grow and hatch--
Me: WHOA. You could get pregnant three times a week!

"Pain isn't measured in newtons!" (my physics teacher)

"So what you're saying is that nonconservative forces are liberal forces and conservative forces are Republican forces? Yeah...and those could be measured in Sarah Palins..." (also my physics teacher)

"Some call it a test. Some call it a quiz. Some call it an opportunity. I call it FUN!" (again, physics teacher)

"Y'know...Ian would have been SO much cooler if he ran around with a burlap sack on his head spraying airbourne hallucinogens at people. I mean, a GUN? Come on, how boring! You've got to be a LITTLE insane, OK?" (Elizabeth and I over why Dr. Crane trumps Ian Howe in all things antagonistic)

"Oh boy! Federalism cake!" (government class)

"They put the car in the band room?" (long story...)

"THERE'S A SNAKE IN THE BAND ROOM!" (even longer story...)

Chaperone: Please remain seated during the bus ride. And in the unlikely event that the cabin should depressurize, I don't think anything would happen. So you're all safe.
Jonathan: (in the back of the bus) WHAT ABOUT THIS ANACONDA?

"And you know what was on the front page of the paper the next day? Me throwing that peanut at Bobby Kennedy." (my US history teacher)

Band Director: Hey, do you have anything sharp to cut that rope?
Me: Uh...no.
BD: (sighs) Here, I'm going to try and gnaw it off.
Me: (stares)
BD: Nnnnn...(starts attacking it with his keys)
Me: ... and how's it coming?
BD: This rope is strong!!

"Madame! Why do you keep your husband in the closet?" (French class, the definition of insanity)

"OK. So who wants to eat Satan the poptart?" (my 9th grade english class)

"Did Gustav Holst have any other children? Well, see...besides Imogen, he had a son. But they disowned him and kept him in the basement because he had a third arm. He later died of massive blood loss when they tried to...er, remove it." (the b.s. answer my friend Ken and I planned for our History Day presentation if anybody asked us the above question, which we didn't know)

"Yeah, we're dancing to the National Treasure soundtrack. WE ARE SO COOL!"
"Yeah, we're head-banging to National Treasure. Now what do you want?" (both from me and Corley)

"It's difficult to talk about individuality when we're all dressed alike, in square hats and flowing robes...like wizards." (Mark Armstrong, graduation speech)

"'Obstreperous' means 'stubborn,' but it's worse. Like you want to hit them over the head with a frying pan." (my 11th grade English teacher)

"Never compose anything unless the not composing of it becomes a positive nuisance to you." (Gustav Holst)

"He must teach himself that the basest of all things is to be afraid; and, teaching himself that, forget it forever, leaving no room in his workshop for anything but the old verities and truths of the heart, the old universal truths lacking which any story is ephemeral and doomed--love and honor and pity and pride and compassion and sacrifice. Until he does so, he labors under a curse. He writes not of love, but of lust, of defeats in which nobody loses anything of value, of victories without hope and, worst of all, without pity or compassion. His griefs grieve no universal bones leaving no scars. He writes not of the heart but of the glands." (William Faulker, Nobel Prize Award Speech...and probably the only thing he said that I ever understood.)

House: You're the good one.
Wilson: At least I try to be.
House: And with that, you can do anything you want.
Wilson: And you can say anything you want.
House: And between us, we can do anything. We can rule the world!

"Carpe diem: seize the day! Make your lives extraordinary!" (Mr. Keating, Dead Poets Society)
