characters of this baby fic for a while now, ever since I fell in love
with Esca well over a year ago (have since purchased the entire
series!) and began to question its bittersweet ending. I've plotted
out the major plot points, ending, beginning, etc, but I'll still have
to figure out middle and such - not too hard, but still takes time.

Hearts" on TCM and thinking about novelists like Henry James and
romantic poems of the last few centuries; the idea of the fic was
intriguing to me, despite my failure at having completed a similar
crossover act before. Hopefully this one will work out, if only on a
small scale.
