Author has written 11 stories for Labyrinth, Pride and Prejudice, Greek Mythology, Harry Potter, and Star Trek: 2009. ~~i'll be everything i'm not~~ I'm a consummate original and a lying liar. I'm a shoestring rocketeer, a clockwork girl, all cold control and hot mess. I'm Spring. I'm Fall(ing). I'm all over the map. I'm off the charts. I'm wherever you don't expect me to be, and the last person you'd suspect. I'm great at emergencies and tornadoes, reliably unreliable any(every)where else. I can kill the devil's engines at twenty paces, and dare their batteries back to life with a glare. I'm Heist. I got some 'splainin to do. ~~you don't ask me what i'd planned~~ I breath out stories like air. It's only a matter of acceding to inevitability. Works In Progress: Untitled--No synopsis forthcoming. My offering for the 2009 Labyrinth Fiction Exchange on LiveJournal. It would simply be silly to tell all here. Falling, and the other 11,001 Things to Be Miserable About--Hermione does not take disappointment sitting down. Draco does not handle falling in love standing upright. A love story of public drunkenness, family legacies, bad hair, quidditch, melancholy caribou, and falling down. A lot. (My first full-length semi-epic HP fic, started for the Hermione Big Bang and then damn it all, I moved, and relatives died, and I got busy. But what I have so far is GOLD. And also a cheeky crossover.) The King, At Nightfall--Time and love, love and time. What would you surrender? (Not so much a work in progress as a work in expansion; this made its first appearance as a gift fic for Danse Macabre in the first Labyrinth Fiction Exchange. I'm going to finish this! Eventually.) ~~should have stayed away too long~~ There are adages about hell and good intentions. My heart was in the right place, at least, if not my head. That's a nasty bit of work, though I wear it well. I'm congenially mad, and it runs havoc on my bad days. I have a lot of bad days. I have a dream job, and every day I have to wake up and go clock in is the worst day of my life. I'm working on escaping it, but we shall see. In the meanwhile, I offer my original caveat: I don't keep my promises. I begin with the most stalwart of intentions, but given I wake up different every few months I am prone to sudden brilliant alteration of intent. (Exhibit A: Fairest, and the miraculous resurrection thereof, in spite of everything I've said about it before.) Disregard what I say, because I will change my history. Disregard what I write, because I'll edit it. I can be counted on always to change, and naught else. Right now, I'm using this as escape, as practice. I appreciate feedback, particularly concrit, because it makes me better. It's therapy, only faster, incentive for my misfiring brain. Enjoy the ride. I generally do. ~~take it anyway you want~~ | |||||||||||||||
