Hello all.

Let's see, where to start... Well first of all I'm me, CarefreeCaptain, sort of a dorky, lanky, Filipino-American college student currently residing in Northern California. My interests are anime, video games, drawing, computer aided design, and animation. I currently attend college for an art major in hopes of doing some kind of graphic design work in the future. I've been drawing as long as I can remember, and for those of you who want to see the fruits of my labor click here (sorry for the shameless plug). Also, while on the topic of art, I have a fair amount of knowledge when it comes to flash and I'm working on eventually starting at least a flash animation or two sometime soon, so look forward to that. People who know me call me pretty smart, but I know that I'm fairly lazy, but when work needs to be done I get into my mode where nothing else can distract me. Also, I'm a huge video game and anime junkie, and as fair warning if you ever end up talking to me about video games or anime, either brace yourselves or stop me before I start boring you. My favorite anime series of all time is Di Gi Charat just because it's so incredibly random and cute that I can't get enough of it. And before any of you ask, yes I am taken and I love my girlfriend very much, so there :P .

As far as fan fiction goes, I'm really into romance fan fics that involves fan pairings as well as some official pairings, although I'm not so fond of pairings including fan characters. Fan fics that I'm often found drawn to are those involving unlikely pairings such as KyXDejiko from Di Gi Charat or KazukiXYuu from Comic Party. And although I really like romance fan fics, I sometimes enjoy entire retellings of stories such as one certain Star Fox fan fic where the entire history of Star Fox is played out, starting around the time of the first infamous raid on planet Venom that resulted in the loss of James McCloud. My favorite series to read fan fics about include Di Gi Charat, Parappa the Rapper, Phoenix Wright, and probably a few others. I'm sort of a stickler for grammar and spelling, but I can be forgiving if the plot of the fan fiction is well thought out and interesting enough to read.
