Author has written 22 stories for Mega Man, Bleach, Naruto, Pokemon, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. Icon Says: "Oh no, it's the evil Asian glare..." "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."...Apparently the guy who said this has never heard of the dictionary. /Throws dictionary at the speaker/ XD The Earth is being destroyed because of what we humans do. We pollute, add carbon dioxide to the air which helps in causing global warming, tear down trees, remove animals from their habitat, remove necessary predators like wolves which causes a disturbance in the natural world, and many other things. The good thing is, we can still stop this problem from becoming even larger. Even if we're not in politics or not scientists, we can still help. The next time you go out, try carpooling, walking, biking, or even ride the bus. Try recycling any and all recycable items. It'll help the environment and you even get money for it if you take your recycables to the local recycling center! Even if these things seem like they won't do much, you'll be surprise at the impact! And when the crisis is resolved, you can proudly declare that you helped! Remember, it's our world. We need to protect it. 0-0-0 Updates: (Bold - new, regular - old) 11/8/09: So, yeah. I've been gone for a long time now other than to make a couple of updates for Chronicles of Asia and Of Prickles and... well, whatever. I plan on finishing CoA before working on anything else. 0-0-0 My Profile: Accounts/E-mails: My Main E-mail Address, LJ, My Gaia, My dA, Yahoo E-Mail, Gmail IM: Gmail: kaze.sora.yuki@gmail.com Yahoo: rowanfirepaw AIM: kamiitorii Nickname: Kaze, Kaze-chan, Anime, Anime-chan, Kaze-sama (lol), Kaze-senpai (Yeah, I actually have people who call me -sama and -senpai), Kaze_Wind (on forums), Kamitori Age: 16 DOB: -insert birthdate here- Race: Vietnamese-American Languages that I speak: English, Vietnamese, French 0-0-0 Kamitori's Words of (more or less) Advice: 1. Meaningful words and pictures that touch combined makes a masterpiece. 2. Simple words can go a long way. 3. Enjoy life to the fullest, even those little, seemingly insignificant moments. 4. You can never get lost time back, so use your time wisely. 5. Money doesn't grow on trees. In fact, it's not even paper. Even so, spend it wisely. 6. Many people search their entire lives for happiness that always eludes them, but they do not see that happiness can be in the simplist of things that are right in front of them. 7. Live your life to the fullest. 8. Take the time to sit back and relax. Life is not just all work. 9. Enjoy a good book once in a while. It'll help you in more ways than one. 10. Happiness can slip through your fingers like sand, leaving you empty and depressed when it is gone, so when you find happiness, grab onto it tightly with both hands and try not to let go. 11. Love makes the world go round, but humor and randomness is the spice of life. 12. In a society where everything is corrupted and people are predicting the end of the world, we can change that and make life for the future generations better by the choices we make today. 13. Innocence should not be tainted. 14. Don't make choices that you will come to regret in the future. 15. The Earth is everyone's home, so we should all help preserve it. If we don't, well...let's just say there's going to be a REALLY long line at Death's door. 16. A dream can go a long way if you are willing to work for it. 17. Knowledge is invaluable. 18. Hope can exist even in the darkest of places. It is what drives people to live to see a better day. Hope is something that should never be destroyed. 19. Do what you think is right, not what someone else says is right. 20. Words can hurt, words can heal. Words can raise people up, words can kill them. Choose your words wisely. 0-0-0 Things You Should Totally Copy if You've Done It: If you have ever run into a door, copy this into your profile. (BOLD the ones you are.) 0-0-0 What Really Annoys Me: I rarely ever go on this site anymore, choosing to go to LiveJournal instead, has one basic reason, though I mean no offense to anyone: terrible stories. I'm sure you've notice it, especially the veterans of this site. The amount of good quality writing is surprisingly starting to dwindle (and I SERIOUSLY hope I'm wrong about this), while a large cornucopia of simply BAD fanfiction are popping up over the last couple of years. Yes, I am sure that very good ones are also popping up, but because of the number of plain bad ones, the good ones aren't getting the attention they deserve. Honestly, you an tell bad fanfiction by several simple means: poor spelling, bad grammar (for the love of goodness! Learn the difference between 'they're', 'their', and 'there' already!), parallelism (bad sentence: I am walking down the street and I went to the store. I'm pretty sure it's OBVIOUS), etc. People are writing stories that use text lingo--how many books do you read that uses text lingo in every other chapter? Text lingo is good when you want to send a speedy message to, oh say, your mum,or a friend, but you don't use, "OMG, thats so gr8t!" and, "Like, I kno, rite?" in stories. Check your spelling, for the love of Pete! Most document managers come with something called SPELL CHECK, you know. If you can't even use that, get a BETA READER. They're there to read, review, and CORRECT your writing. Thank You, FF.net for BETA READERS!! (Heck, if you need one, I'M a BETA READER) Also, reviews are there to comment about the author's writing. If you're going to leave a review, I'm pretty sure the author would like something more than, "Good.", like, say, at least one sentence, "Hey, I really liked it, great job!", or you could even go IN DEPTH about what you liked. In fact, technically reviews are there for others to comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the stories and how they can improve. Yeah, we like our reviews. We like it when people say, "Good job!", give constructive criticism, and heck, give us cookies (haha, yeah, I know.). We appreciate your one-word reviews--it makes us happy that you liked it...or, well, hate it, but we'd like it more if you'd elaborate. And honestly, no author really like FLAMES, so please. Don't bash us and we won't bash you. And before anyone goes on a tangent about, "Oh, we have the freedom of speech, and you can't, like, force us to not use txt spch n wutever b/c we have teh choice to," and all that junk, let's not forget that this site is suppose to be for WRITING. As in FOLLOWING THE PROPER RULES OF WHATEVER LANGUAGE YOU WRITE IN. (Yeah, I know this pretty much aims at English speakers.) Do you honestly write like that for school/work/whatever? Because if you do...HOW the HECK did you get that job? I mean, minor errors and all on FF.net are fine, but school/work/whatever writings? Those are PROFESSIONAL. You TRY NOT to make errors! You DON'T use text lingo. You DON'T mix up 'your' and 'you're' and 'they're', 'their', and 'there'! There is a thin line between GOOD writing and BAD writing, and on sites like FF.net, where it is dedicated to writers for them to let their imagination and creativity flow through writing, which is almost equivalent to publishing books, straddling the fence is okay. Walking the GOOD road is great. Walking the BAD road is NOT. Sure, FF.net is technically a "fun" site, but it is also a professional site where people come and expect to read good stories and give good feedback, and attempt to submit good stories in return for others to read and enjoy and give GOOD feedback. Please. Don't make FF.net go down the drain. Check the quality of your stories before submitting them for the world to read and criticize. ~Kamitori | |||||||||
