Please don't ask; it's complicated with this story. On the one hand, it's beautiful and a masterpiece, but on the other it's crap. You might not think so, but it is. For a long time I wondered what exactly was wrong with it, because I could sense it but not see it, and finally (after reading a really good story) it was made apparent. It has to do with the way Naruto and Kyuubi behave: it's too human. The Ancient, who could really blend in and imitate human behavior, is always an outsider, always an alien presence (though maybe that's what I wanted way-back-when). Then there's the whole Naruto-hides-his-true-power thing which is entirely too overdone, Bitch Kyuubi was also overdone, and I didn't exactly bring anything new to besides supremacies to the table.

Why am I writing about a completed story, you ask? Well, because even now a year after I finished it I still get people asking me for a sequel. I'm not going to make a sequel. The ending is perfect the way it is. Yes, I know, you want to know what Naruto is going to next, is Konoha going to ruled by him and how? How do Miya and Naruto fair in the future? Look, even I don't know what's going to happen next; Naruto begins his new life, alright!
Look people, use your imagination. I purposely left it somewhat open ended. Though, I'm NOT saying you can take this as permission from me to write your own sequel.

In all of my stories (or more my later stories, I suppose) I enjoy pocking fun at trends in the community that I either don't agree with or for which I just found a particularly interesting counter-argument. I won't name names (authors or stories) and I don't mean anything bad by it.
