Author has written 32 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, Zelda, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Kingdom Hearts. Updates: 6/3/09 It's with a sad heart I write this with. I'd like to inform all of you, who have stuck with me through my years of writing, that I won't be updating any longer. There have been a multitude of things in my life that have made me come to this decision. I hope everyone understands. I've loved almost every moment of being a member on this place, reading your stories, reviews, and providing stories myself. You can, of course, find me on other websites, like these: Thank you all :) 6/13/08 First I want to offer a very deep apology for no WA updates - and then let me apologize again because it won't be updated in a long while. I've been working on it for almost two years now and I'm simply tired of writing it. However, I know I can't let it just end there, I will put a closure to it somehow. But not in a while. I don't know when, exactly, but I will continue it. I thank the readers who've stuck with it for this long :) However, this does NOT mean I'm quitting on ff.net at all. There will still be oneshots and other tidbits between now and the time I pick WA up again. Teasers: Poison The Wine: Chapter 1 As soon as it came, that glow vanished into wisps of forgotten gold coiled securely behind his sudden grin. It spread like liquid across his handsome mouth, imprinting two half-circles upon his cheeks. That singular action gave him the appearance of a schoolboy enjoying sweets on a spring afternoon, coloring his eyes a powder blue beneath honey-gold hair. No one could have guessed that same mouth had been stretched in heart-stopping battle cries, pursed together with agony, and licked clean of rank filth blood. All this only contributed to this intriguing youth’s appearance, behavior, and mysterious air perfumed around him like a relentless cloud. What came After: Chapter 14 “You may be an excellent spy, Osamu, but you’ve never made an adequate killer. I’ll have to break you of that; sundown. You have until sundown to kill her. Do so however you wish, I just want her dead. The only good Hikaru Juujika is a dead one, you know that.” There was a faint scraping noise, another boom of thunder, and the room was silent once again. Soujiro is widowed. Misao is Okashira. Far away two shinobi clans are warring, and Misao has to solve it. Soujiro is an alcoholic, deperate for salvation and will do anything to get it. How far will they go to make ends meet? Couples: Soujiro/Misao with a hint of others later. Chapters: Thirteen. Comments: I actually never expected this to get such good feedback. It was just something that popped into my head one saturday night, and I began working on the first chapter the following morning. I'm glad to say it's pretty unique, at least compared to most SouMi fanfics. A lot of them revolve around the typical "Sou meets Misao on his journey/Misao runs away to find herself and meets him" stuff that's been floating around for ages. This is a lot darker and more mature than most of the stories on there. Most (not all) revolve around romance, fluff, teenage drama, and all that other stuff (not to say some of mine don't.) But I wanted to be different. Instead, WA has none of that. Alcoholism and depression is a major theme, but it isn't like that through the entire story. There are the romantic and "light" moments in there, but those are rare..it wouldn't fit with the story. In place of teenage drama and whatnot (Sou is 28, Mis is 26) there is a lot of underlying sexual themes, but not graphic. Which is why the story will be changed from T to M in later chapters. All in all, I have a lot planned for this story, and from the looks of it, it wil be at least 30 chapters or more. Filigree (Drabble collection) Status: In progress Couples: Meh, hints here or there of Link/Midna and Link/Zelda, maybe others. No real pairing. Chapters: 11 Comments: Mostly started to kick my muse in gear, and to keep me occupied while Posion the Wine is collecting cyberdust in my old computer. Nothing really great but I do hope some people get enjoyment out of it. Aibiria Aimee Status: Discontinued Summary: Soujiro and Misao Seta are suddenly struck with an illness, and their only son, Kenjiro has to cope with the consequenses. Although it will be mostly based on Misao/Soujiro, Kenjiro will play an important roll in the overall story; that when things get bad, it can get better, it's always darkest before the dawn. Couples: Soujiro/Misao. Chapters: Four. Comments: This is an older piece, so I removed the link. Don't plan on revamping it. Past the Point of No Return: Status: Discontinued and removed Summary: This fiction is based on the hit movie/musical The Phantom of the Opera. Although the first three chapters sound like the musical, I am going to blend both the musical and the original book (by Gaston Leroux) in a kind of mis-matched story. I put the lyrics in the first few chapters so the reader will get a feel of what they (Soujiro and Misao) would sing/feel, but from chapter six I will base most of it on the book and what I come up with. Couples: Mainly Soujiro/Misao, a hint of Aoshi/Misao as well. Chapters: Seven chapters, eight I have yet to get to. Comments: Old too. This was waaay back last year when I was in my POTO craze. (though, I still am XD) I don't like it much so I removed it. Won't be revamped. Upcoming stories? At the moment most of my attention is on What came After, but there have been a few ideas floating here or there between then. Glass and Roses (Title undecided) Status: Not in progress, just an idea right now. Summary: Undecided. Couples: Kenshin/Kaoru, Soujiro/Misao, a bit of Enishi/Misao even if I despise that pairing O.O Chapters: I expect it to be 10-20 chapters. Comments: Much like What came After, this is just a random idea that found me one night. I don't exactly know what spurred it, but I liked it and decided to start thinking more of it. So far I've got very little, most of my attention is on What came After and school. I just know it'll be during WWII and Soujiro will be in the army, but at a pretty high rank, posistioned in Hiroshima. Misao will be his assistant of sorts, and that's about all I've got so far More upcoming stories on Cagewire The Red Kimono Status: Not in progress, just an idea right now. Summary: Undecided. Couples: Kenshin/Kaoru, Soujiro/Misao and Sou/OC (Don't kill me!) Chapters: I expect it to be 10-20 chapters. Comments: Again, no idea where this came from. I was looking at one of my kimono and watching some movie about insane people, and it came to me. Basically it's modern day where Soujiro is a psychiatrist in Tokyo happily married to a woman named Mariko. He meets his new patient Makimachi Misao, a paranoid schitzophenic, so bad shes in a room by herself with one red kimono on the wall. As you can expect they somehow fall in love, but there are a few problems which will rise once the plot is actually developed. Comments: What's this!? Anithene is actually writing a fanfic that ISN'T RK related? I can hear jaws dropping everywhere. I've been re-introduced to my Zelda craze and naturally, I've got to write something Zelda related. This doesn't mean I'm not into RK anymore, cause I still am, I just have another obsession to share. I really don't know where this story will be headed, but I can promise lots of blood and just a bit of romance...and war, perhaps?
