Author has written 14 stories for Slayers, Ranma, and Harry Potter. Updated 20 September 2008: Oh, uh...hi there, guys. Um...What's happening? So it would seem I haven't actually so much as looked at this account in...oh...three and a half years, but I'm still getting author alerts and stuff like that with people apparently favoriting the stories and all. That's pretty awesome...and makes me feel really guilty. :( As a result, I feel that I should probably make some sort of update to let people know what's going on, so...here's the scoop. I've been working full-time, and when I'm not working at my job, I'm working on various projects free-lance. In addition to that, I've running security for an anime con for the past few years (no pimpage here - I pimp anonymously) which takes up some time and energy from winter through early summer with planning and whatnot. On top of that, I'm planning on going back to college for a physics degree or five, so...life has been ridiculously hectic, and fandom has sort of fallen by the wayside. I've been much more active on LJ, but that's only speaking relatively. I haven't been doing much over there for the past few months either, and at some point I'll probably be moving all my content over to IJ and JF anyway. What does all of this mean? Well, I'm not saying I've stopped writing, just that I've gone on an extended hiatus from recreational writing. When I do start updating (I'm hoping it will be fairly soon, but I promise nothing), it'll probably be with new stories (and by 'new' I mean new to FF.net, as a lot of them are already up on LJ) as both Mortal Coil and It's Gravitation, my two apparently most popular stories, are in desperate need of an overhaul before I can continue them. I don't know if I'll change them to make them canon compliant or not...I lie, I probably won't, since that would make them entirely different stories...but there are plot holes and character development issues that I can't overlook, having re-read the stories cold (this really applies mostly to HPMC, since It's Gravitation is all about the lulz anyway and the more plot holes and terrible plot devices, the better). Besides that, the grammar isn't really all that up to par, sometimes carrying a repetitive quality that would make even Stephanie Meyer headdesk. (I apologize to Twilight fans, but...I really don't much care for her writing. It's nothing personal.) Also...I...like...to...abuse...ellipses, if you haven't noticed; I'd like to correct that as well. Those two stories, therefore, are on hiatus. When I do fix them and start reposting, I'll make sure to update this page to let people know, I guess (I'm not too clear on how FF.net's alerts work anymore, since it's been a while). The new stories should be appearing within the next couple of days, though, since it's really all just copypasta. I guess the only thing left to say is...C&C away as you see the new stuff posted, and I'm sorry I kind of neglected everything. :( I sux, I know.
