Haven't really done any work on Colors in the last month or so, mainly because when I sat down to work on Chapter 4 I discovered that I'd managed to, in just under fifteen pages, write myself into a corner that I didn't like. So I've scrapped it and have begun work on a revised version that I'll hopefully post in the next month or so under the title Prism Effect (or at least that's the working title right now, may change).
What did I do with Colors that I didn't like? Sasuke. For a brief moment I let fannon and my own irritation with Sasuke's temporary place in the limelight during the latest manga arcs override my common sense and better judgement and ended up with information that was completely contradictory to what I wanted to do with Sasuke. So, since it was going to require rewriting anyway, I scrapped about ninety-percent of the established story-line (what tiny bit of it there was) and have given the thing a major overhaul and incorporated some of the new information from the latest manga chapters into my plans. What I have will end up being, I hope, a fairly good story with some new spins on the same old story.
