Author has written 22 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. I'm a 33 year-old wife and mother of a 5-year-old boy. Just started writing again after a long hiatus. Before delving into my own characters, I thought it would be fun to put my own spin on those already established -- specifically, Spike -- and have a little fun with them. I'm a college drop-out (English major with Art History minor if I'd finished) who enjoys writing, reading, all kinds of music, cooking and legal studies. Favorite musicians include Breaking Benjamin, Springsteen, The Calling, Emerson Drive, Double Drive, John Mayer, Simon & Garfunkel (and just Simon, but not just Garfunkel) and Crossfade. Favorite authors include Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum series), Natalie Goldberg (big fan of her writer's handbooks as well as her novel, Banana Rose), LaVyrle Spencer (yes, very sappy romance novelist... but the woman is an incredible writer) and Sanrda Brown. I'm a soap junkie. Too much reality tv for me. My theory is that I get enough reality in my every day life. I certainly don't want to watch it on TV. Hate Fear Factor, Big Brother, The Batchelor, The Swan... hate them all. LOVE General Hospital, Days of Our Lives (I've watched Days since I was in the womb), One Life to Live. Think I might try my hand at some That 70s Show fanfic after wrapping up this one about Spike... I just love Steven Hyde. He's such a great character. Reminds me of how my Uncle Stevie was back in the 70s all the way down to those tinted glasses and the curly hair. I absolutely adore James Marsters and his character, Spike from BtVS and Angel. Moreso on Buffy. He's quite complex, don't you think? And good lord, the man is sex personified. I think my husband is actually jealous of the really hot Spike pic on our desktop. Especially since he overhears me greet it every day with "Good morning, Gorgeous!" Haha. My personal fiction deals with teenage angst and rock bands. Maybe I'll post a few installments sometime... have to find the discs... it's been awhile! | |||||||||||
