Author has written 10 stories for StarTrek: The Original Series. Hey, so, welcome to my lovely corner of the interwebs! I've been writing my entire life but only recently became truly serious about it. My books are avalible in print (at the moment, only one, but more soon to come) and I'd be very very grateful if you would take a look! If you enjoy what you find here, feed the starving author and please download or purchase a copy. Links can be found below. I write primarily modern fantasy, although I also dabble in high fantasy, sci-fi, general fiction, and love to write supernatural crime novels. Hehe. In all my books, romance is a part, and I write both homo and heterosexual romance pairings. Though, be warned, I have strong homosexual content in most of my books and while I can't be accused of writing smut, nothing is rated 'G' either. Once a project is complete, it will be removed from fictionpress.net EXCEPT FOR a sample chapter and placed for sale. And here, at fanfiction.net, I write for fun, more or less. My original stuff can be found at www.fictionpress.com/~spiritbearr, and if you like what you see there, support me! Buy it please, and tell others! For Sale: Mourning Doves-Available as of now. See link below to purchase. Many years in future, the world is changing. There is a new race of humanity appearing, and the rest of us must adapt or die. Called 'Kin' and 'Hunters', these two mutated factions teeter between peace and dangerous violence with more traditional humans. And so, in order to adapt, the government has formed an enforcement group comprised of men and woman trained to handle both sections of mutants. Enter Leander Kale, and his partner, Epsilon Maddox. Both Kin themselves, they have spent more time fighting people on their own team then bad guys. Between their colored pasts and a man who wants nothing more then to see them both in jail for the rest of their lives, the two struggle for something like respect and trust among their peers. When the agency they work for falls under attack from the inside out, Leander's partner is Prime Suspect A, and Leander must decide just how far he trusts Epsilon, on top of trying to find the real threat to himself and his friends. To make matters worse, a beautiful young woman needing protection is being ruthlessly pursued by Hunters, Leander's only friends in this mess are too busy fighting sexual tension to be of any help, and in the end it might very well be the entire agency itself that Leander must fight to save himself and his loved ones. And who is this guy with the cats? Case Files Of Luka Cooper Book One: The Other Dead Guy-Not Yet Available. Read it @ www.fictionpress.net/~spiritbearr SLASH! Memory Land-(The Enterprise has vanished and they don't have the first blue's clue as to why. Stranded on a planet where the past and the future met in dreams, it's pretty lucky they're together. Because Jim Kirk is starting to loose it, and without his friends to hold him together, probably would have by now.) Quirks-(Tarsus was many years ago. Sometimes that doesn't matter. Bones wonders why he didn't see it before. Jim just wants to be left alone.) Playing Doctor-(What's that old saying? 'A doctor is often the worst patient'? Leonard McCoy is a walking example of that. It's Jim's turn to play nursemaid, with a little help.) Speak Through-(A Captain can't be a Captain if he can't speak, and speech is something Kirk seems to be having a problem with. After being abducted as a would be hostage, Kirk is rescued, but badly hurt and utterly unable to vocalize. Chances are good it is a temporary condition, but the thought prevails...what if it's not?) Dependable-(Jim is badly hurt. As usual, Bones puts him back together again.) The Ghost and Mr. Kirk-(The Enterprise is haunted. No, really, it is.) Series- Should Come With Warnings Series: (TOS Kinda, Movie Verse Kinda, AU to both really, and yet also a mix of both. A series of short, interconnected stories following three unlikely Academy roommates- Jim Kirk, Leonard McCoy, and Spock...um...well. You wouldn't be able to pronounce it, anyway. These stories track them and their friends through misadventure and triumph, friendship and rivalry alike. ) Average, Normal Boys- AU! Jim Kirk is your average teenager. Working two jobs, sharing an apartment with his two best friends, just trying to get by. Perfectly normal. Except that one of his friends is half-alien, the other one is an empath, and, oh yeah, Jim's night job is solving mysteries revolving around the ghosts only he can see. But other then that, his life is totally...normal. In Progress Star Trek (TOS unless otherwise specified) One Shots/Multi-Chapter Standalone Stories- The Trouble with Trib-uh, Trejjions?-(Okay, so maybe they got a little attached. Or to smuggle them back up onto the Enterprise and completely divert from their current course to get them home...) Little Wolf-(Cross over, longer work. As if baby animals weren't bad enough. Sent to the past yet again for a research mission, our boys plus Uhura, Chekov, and Mr. Scott find themselves with a tiny tag along. A tiny half-blood tag along. His parents missing, his attitude impossible, it's up to our heroes to find his parents and figure out why the child is so angry. The problem is, the townsfolk aren't taking too kindly to our gang, or the child. It takes the aid of seven very special men and a few very unique women to get to the bottom of things. And when it's discovered by said men that our crew is from the future, well, that's when life starts getting interesting. Maybe this won't affect the future, but it sure is going to cause a bit of chaos for a while...) Hero Complex-(James Kirk, met James Kirk. -This is a variation of both the movie and TOS, slightly AU from both.-) Playing House-(Inspired by a conversation with Myrhlyn. Some of the Enterprise crew make a few amusing comparisons.) Sexual Harassment-(Five times, much to his dismay, Mr. Spock falls prey to it. And of course, Jim and McCoy find each time far too amusing.) Family-(Joanna, met Uncle Spock.) Series- Should Come With Warnings-(TOS Kinda, Movie Verse Kinda, AU to both really, and yet also a mix of both. A series of short, interconnected stories following three unlikely Academy roommates- Jim Kirk, Leonard McCoy, and Spock...um...well. You wouldn't be able to pronounce it, anyway. These stories track them and their friends through misadventure and triumph, friendship and rivalry alike. ) Should Come With Warnings Number The First: A Little Help from My Friends-For one year, three very different young men have shared a room at Starfleet Academy. Driving each other utterly insane and yet slowly forming a bond that is deep and unique, they boast a friendship that transcends explanation. Two of the pair need to find out why McCoy is acting even more irritable then usual one apparently normal day in the middle of the month. And when he gets sickeningly drunk and disappears, figuring out his reasons come second to finding him. Should Come With Warnings Number The Second:You May Be Right- For one year, three very different young men have shared a room at Starfleet Academy. Driving each other utterly insane and yet slowly forming a bond that is deep and unique, they boast a friendship that transcends explanation.Training exercises can be boring, hard, tedious and dull. Unless you have friends like Jim, Spock and McCoy. Their friends quickly discover how entertaining these exercises can be...well, all of it but the repercussions part. And so long as you're in it together, that's maybe not so bad, either. Average, Normal Boys- AU! Average, Normal Boys Book One: Easy As Nailing Jello to the Wall- When there is clear evidence of some kind of ghost haunting the barn where Jim Kirk works as a horse trainer, what starts off as a vaguely amusing cliche quickly becomes a deadly serious problem. From fires mysteriously starting to panicking animals, people have started to get hurt. And the only clue Jim has to go on is his empathic best friend's repulsion towards the barn's manager and somber little blond ghost child. Average, Normal Boys Book Two: Herding Cats- Some ghosts don't understand that you don't need force and fear with everyone- some people listen without it. A group of said ghosts have begun to target Jim, launching violent, terrifying attacks in what seems to be a desperate bid for attention. No matter how much they protest that Jim is willing to help, they seem unable to get through to their attackers; and the only way to end the assault is to find out what the ghost are so desperately trying to tell them. But that might be a bigger problem then our boys realize, and if they're not careful, Jim might end up as one of his own clients.
