For anyone still wondering, I WILL return to LIFE AT MY HOUSE one day, but not at least until I graduate from college (I'm in my senior year now and I'm SOOOOO busy), or perhaps not until I settle into my first apartment a year after I graduate. Sometime in 2006, life whacked me in the face. I fell in love, had my heart broken (surprisingly not from being rejected because I already knew I was going to be rejected), and my life steadily became worse since then. My old style of YGO comedy isn't what it used to be anymore, and so all my YGO fanfics have died along with about half of the happiness I used to have back in high school. I also fell into the Kingdom Hearts fandom and have fallen deeper and deeper ever since. So you'll most likely be seeing KH from me. As for Yu-Gi-Oh, I would like to return to "Life At My House" one day, since I really did love that fic and I'll occassionally get an urge to write the next chapter, but we'll see. I did write the first page to the next chapter about a month ago, but well, I just can't get back into it right now for various reasons. 3/19/10 - Wishful thinking, but in addition to possibly returning to "Life At My House", I might try my hand at re-writing "Tea and the Beast" since my writing has taken a turn more toward the drama/romance genre. But I can't do anything until my spring semester is over. School keeps me MUCH too busy. 8/13/10 - Life is steadily getting better for me, but it's still INSANELY busy, so at the very least, I have to wait until I finish college before I can even hope to touch my old YGO fics again. It might take longer than that, since I'll have to look for a job after I graduate and then there's the life plan my best friend and I have been planning for a long time now and that won't be realized for about 2 years from now... 2/23/10 - As stated at the top of this, I will continue LAMH one day, but not until life finally settles down for me (i.e. after I've graduated, found a job, moved into my first apartment, etc). | |||||||
