kanshu is Japanese for 'opening page of a book'. I like the concept behind it.

I'm no longer writing fanfiction.
This has various reasons, one of them being that my time schedule is very full and I'm concentrating on my original fiction.
I'm still debating if I should take all my fanfiction offline, but for the time being it stays up.
Concerning the unfinished stories, don't expect any updates. I don't know if or when I will complete them.
I apologize for any inconviniences this might cause and thank you for the great and encouraging feedback I've received from you so far.

Note: I usually don't write same-gender relationship in fan works if they aren't official (canon). I usually don't read same gendered relationships (outside canon pairings) in fan works of a fandom while I'm writing in that fandom. The reasons for that are no one's business but my own.
(Translation: Stop asking/begging/threatening me to write your frigging'Ahmigawd!Theydagayandsohotogethaaa!Yaaaay!Yaoiforewaah!' pairing. If you're so desperate, write it yourself or pester one of the countless slash authors in your fandom with your request. Period.)
Some personal thoughts on some of the oh-so-tolerant people in a certain fannish society:
When a person says, he/she doesn’t like to read or write Mary Sues or self insertions, that is okay with everyone. No one in the fan crowd for that type of story would think about claiming they hate the author.
When a person says, he/she doesn’t like to read or write humorous fics, that is okay with everyone. No one in the fan crowd for that type of story would think about calling them humourless.
When a person says, he/she doesn’t like to read or write shonen-ai/yaoi/yuri/slash, then some people in the fan crowd for that type of story point their fingers at them and call them “homophobe”.
Whatever happened to “don’t read/write it if you don’t like it”?
Why is it now that one has to read or write a genre that they don’t like for whatever personal reasons, or be branded as intolerant and discriminating against homosexuals?
Why is it okay for all other genres to allow freedom of choice, but not for this genre?
I don't like readers who flame authors who write in a particular genre, just for the fact that they do write that genre. But I also don't like readers and writers who want to push their genre down everyone's throat by force in the name of tolerance. Hypocrites.
