About me: I'm a college student living in the South-East of the U.S. Right now my major is Japanese Language and Literature, although I plan to double major Japanese and Chinese, or switch majors all together to Creative Writing. I've always been interested in Asia, even as a kid, and I started watching anime even before I knew what it exactly was. My first anime was DBZ, and I still thoroughly enjoy it (even if some parts make me cringe at their corniness). Other favorite anime include Trigun, Hellsing (the OVA), Cowboy Bebop, FMA, and Elfen Lied. Also, I've just started watching Bleach. Lately I've been reading more manga than watching anime, though; my current obsession is Berserk. I've also read some amazing horror manga, including Uzumaki by Junji Ito and Portus by Jun Abe (both highly recommended).

As you can tell, I'm a fan of horror; I love scary movies, including Oldboy (my favorite movie of all time), Silent Hill, Abre Los Ojos, and Cloverfield. I like other movies, too, though, such as V for Vendetta, The Princess Bride, and Men in Black. I think that I'm a pretty well-rounded person, and tolerant as well, so most things don't bother me. Besides writing fanfiction, I have my own blog, write original works, read (I'm into the Dresden Files right now), browse the Internet, and hang out with friends. I'm just your typical geek. :D

Of the Same Sewage: I always wondered what would happen if Kaiji actually lost his mind after the events of Series 1. It seemed plausible that his mind would break and that he would seek a different type of vengeance. My favorite movie is "Oldboy," which explores vengeance and societal status, so I thought I'd write a story with similar themes. Because I haven't seen all of Kaiji (Series 2 is going to be released eventually), I decided to turn this idea into a one-shot instead of a multi-chapter fic. Additional chapters may be written at a later point, but for now it's a one-shot. It's also spoiler-rific, so please don't read if you haven't seen all of Series/Season 1.

Scarification: A little one-shot that I wrote from Kaiji's POV. It's spoiler-rific, so I won't say much here, but he wonders how his life turned out the way it did. This story is kind of an experiment for writing first person POV and getting into character. It's short, but doesn't count as a drabble. I haven't tried getting into Kaiji's head as much before, and although this isn't very long, I think I did a good job at hitting some points.

Do You Mind: My first Kaiji fanfic AND my first attempt at romantic writing! I absolutely loved Ultimate Survivor Kaiji and I can't wait for the second season and the movie. As soon as Sahara entered the scene, I thought the two were adorable together, so I decided to write a romantic-humor fic. Please bear with my romantic scenes; I really had no idea what I was doing. Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated! Sahara forces Kaiji to hang out with him, but things get complicated in both bad and good ways.

Feel Up: My first attempt at writing my guilty-pleasure pairing for DBZ, VegetaxChi Chi. This is a one-shot only, so I apologize to readers if there was any confusion there. Along with this being my first try at that pairing, it was my second try at writing "romantic" scenes, so please bear with me! Chi Chi is trying to figure out what exactly Vegeta did and why, but the prince is playing mind games.

Cheeky: This was a random idea that popped up while I was listening to the Repo! The Genetic Opera soundtrack. I had a lot of fun with this drabble-ish story (it's a little bit over 1000 words), since I haven't written from Nappa's point of view before. I also liked characterizing Raditz differently than usual; he's a thief here. This is a general humorous one-shot. If you don't like strong language, I suggest avoiding it, since I made Nappa swear like, well, a space pirate.

Splatter: This story idea, which I will reveal more in detail later, has been floating in my head for ages. I've read a lot of dark!fic, and I've decided to try my hand at a story that is specifically dark and unsettling. This may be moved off this site or edited if it's too dark for general audiences. It's rated M for violence, disturbing imagery, and language. This story will also contain shounen ai/yaoi, so be warned! The fandom is DBZ and the central character is Trunks. More to come soon!

A New Image For the Masses: Repo! The Genetic Opera is one of my favorite movies, and I instantly fell in love with the Largo siblings. This is my first (but not my last!) fanfic for Repo!, and I hope to write a multi-chapter fic with these three at the center. I'm unsure of the characterization in this but I've been told it was amusing. If you haven't seen Repo!, do not read this! It contains spoilers! Also, if you haven't seen Repo!, go see it now! This is a one-shot humor story, and basically practice for writing the Largos.

Devoured: My biggest project, which centers around Vegeta and his familial interactions. I decided to explore his character and relate his past to his actions in DBZ. I plan to go into his background and explore what his family (comprised of my OCs) was like. This story is no longer on hiatus but has been edited somewhat extensively. It has been put back on hiatus for planning. Thanks to my great reviewers for giving me constructive criticism and praise! A special thanks to Curious-TalC for her help in beta-ing.

Flood: This was going to be a one-shot, but a plot bunny suddenly appeared in my head, and I've decided to actually go forward with it at some point (but not for awhile. See above). I don't want to reveal too many plot details yet, since 1) I want to plan it some more and 2) I'd like to read your opinions just based on this one chapter. By no means will this become an epic, I hope. (gulp) Anyway, our protagonist (or antagonist...?) is Vegeta, and for now, the story describes him wandering around a deserted city and musing. Thanks to Faschia for the review! I'll let you know if/when I continue this story.

Traveling Elsewhere: I wrote this in response to the weekly prompt by Macha at the DBZ Fanfic Salon. This week, the word was "travel." I actually wrote a first person point of view as Krillin, oh geez! I've always kept a small place in my heart for Krillin, since he was the first character I encountered and because he's just cute like that. Anyway, the fic is Krillin's thoughts about Goku while the Z Fighters are watching him train. It's a fun little one-shot. Thanks to remembering the childhood and Vicky-V for the great reviews!

Family: An Elfen Lied one-shot focusing on Lucy and how she feels being part of Kohta's make-shift family. This is from her point of view, something I haven't tried very often before. I wanted to get into the head of a different character for once, and Lucy is quite interesting to me.

I Love You I Hate You: The first story I posted on FF.net. It's a short, fluffy little thing, and quite cutesy. Although I generally dislike the Goku/Vegeta pairing, I thought I'd try my hand at it. This is an old fic, so the writing is not above and beyond. If you're looking for mindless G/V fluff, though, go ahead and read it!
