Author has written 26 stories for Lord of the Rings, Avatar: Last Airbender, Fire Emblem, Fullmetal Alchemist, StarTrek: Voyager, NCIS, and Samurai 7. Welcome to the profile of Storm, The Last Inkbender. Gender: Female Species: 8472 Range: Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Full Metal Alchemist, Star Trek: Voyager, N.C.I.S., Star Wars, Frankenstein, Fire Emblem, Bones, House, Supernatural, Lost. Anything. Everything. Domain: Satire, Satirical Philosophy, Satirical Angst, Satirical Humor, Fluidic Space Mode: Short Fiction seeking natural enhancment. Always plays as Trade Federation in Star Wars: Battleship. The underdog that isn't going to win. Wimpy McWimpies. People no one else really cares about. Extremely minor characters. Joe, Shmoe, and some guy named Rod that wears tin-foil. Characters in need of attitude adjustment. Have Ship, Will Sail: Zutara, OzaiTree(I'm the Original), Lu Ten x Anyone, IshiHime, Bones & Booth, J/C, RoyRiza, Tiva, KanbeixKyuzo, All Dangerverse Ships, any and all mindless fluff. Your ship will be assimilated. Warning: I love the lovers who can light things on fire with their stares. Newsflash: I figured out why I ship what I do! Aren't you proud of me? It actually came as a revelation when I was watching Samurai 7. I was in it for the epic battles(ok, and super-epic-hot samurai. Edward, eat your heart out), but this ship had me at, "I am in love." In the middle of a swordfight. Male-male. Not my usual modus operendi, for anyone who knows me. But I figured out why: they were undressing each other with their eyes. Not just undressing each other, but man, whatever they were doing, it was hot. It was like when Janeway and Chakotay glare at each other, and the tension is just so palpable that you're not quite sure that they're arguing about aliens, or like when Jenny and Gibbs have their stare-downs, or Tony and Ziva just watch each other, or Booth and Bones, or Zuko and Katara. Am I detecting a pattern? My shipping is all in the eyes. (Although it doesn't explain dork-love, but then, what can?) Reasons for Things: My Penname: "2:16 p.m. ET 8/18/2008 The center of Tropical Storm Fay is passing through the Florida Straits and is nearing Key West, Florida." Why People Like Angst: "Happiness is beneficial to the body but it is grief that develops the powers of the mind." Why I Am Politically Opposed To Standardized Testing: "The trick is not to show any fear. Tests can smell fear." Why I Write: "Writing is a socially acceptable form of Schizophrenia." Why I Love Meatloaf: "Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow when you're choaking on your pride." Seven Paramilitary Type Dudes So has anyone else heard about the new movie they're making based on Seven Samurai, originally directed by Akira Kurosawa? The one with countless spinnoffs anyways? I mean, what's one more? Yeah. They're doing it. I don't really have much of a problem with it, since I'm such a crazy fangirl anyways and I don't like to judge until I've actually seen it. If they decide to do it, you know. They seem to like George Clooney for Kanbe/Kambei/(The Captain dude who I swear has the hots for Kyuzo). So my friends and I have taken to daydreaming about who might play who. I know at lease I am a raving Kyuzo fangirl, so of course predicting who would play him came first. Like it was that hard. Kyuzo = Gerard Butler. I loved how Clooney and Brad Pitt worked together in the Ocean's trilogy, so it only made sense in our heads to have him be Shichiroji/Momotaro/The Old Wife. I'm in the I hate Katsushiro club, so originally, we thought 'Zack Effron.' But then Shia LaBeouf popped into our heads. Gorobei is a bit of a creeper in the anime, so when Christopher Walken was suggested, he was readily agreed to. Heihachi remined me of a hobbit, so Sean Astin was the obvious choice. Matt Damon made our pick as Kikuchiyo. I don't know about you, but I'd watch it. And cry, because that's what I do with this movie/story, after screaming about how 'epic' and 'awesome' whatever just happened was. And no, I'm not in it for the eyesmex. Well, not just the eyesmex. (But you know you want it.) WTF of the Day: Kyuzo is the lovechild of Chuck Norris and Superman, and trained by Yoda and Batman. The American founding fathers were totally Zutarian. How else do you think that much red and blue got into our flag? | |||||||||||
