Well this is the first time I've ever written anything and let anyone read it. It's terrible I know, and I expect I will get flamed like mad or get no comment at all. That's fine. The internet is a big place, and my feeling is if nobody likes it they certainly don't have to read it ( '_' )v Right?
Um, also a cautionary note: I'm an American college student currently studying in Japan for a year and although I will do my best to proofread my stories I will warn you ahead of time.
Foreign language intensive study = English going to crap.
Foreign language intensive study = Tons of homework and so little free time
So I apologize for the many, many ridiculous mistakes, large and small, that I will undoubtedly make.

Anyway, I've been reading fanfiction for years and finally, as terrifying as it is, I've decided to try putting something on here myself. If anyone ends up liking it at all I will be delighted. So anyway, if you feel like it feel free to read it. And if you start it and find yourself falling alseep in your chair with drool hanging out of your mouth - please. Feel free to stop (O_o ) I'm mostly just doing this for fun so anyway.

January 28, 2007 - Japan
It's 10 p.m. and I've just finished posting chapter 9 - God help me - and I honestly have no idea how that is going to go - shudders - but I'll be by in the morning to pick up the pieces if it's a complete disaster. Like I said on the story I've already checked once but I don't trust myself in this brain dead state so I'll be checking it tomorrow morning when I'm more rested. p.s. If anyone likes ethnic music - or specifically that of the arabic persuasion I'd still like to recommend someone who I think is a really amazing artist - Natacha Atlas - and considering she has been around FOREVER apparently, I was pretty slow on the catch but... I tend to listen to her music when I write it's really nice. If you're interested there are a bunch of videos on youtube.com - she's got a gorgeous voice I think. ( '-' ) I specifically recommend: Light of Life (or Hope), Le Printemps, Like the Last Drop, Mon Amie La Rose, When I Close My Eyes (love it!), Layali, and Leysh Nat'Arak. Very fun, unique music I think...Enough of my personal opinion though
