Author has written 22 stories for Harry Potter, Protector of the Small Quartet, Song of the Lioness, Trickster series, Immortals, Tamora Pierce, and Naruto. 11/1: NaNoWriMo season has commenced. This means that I will be going a month without sleep, and you will go at least a month without seeing any writing from me. Chapter four of the NejiTen (now titled What Fates Impose) is at about 2k words right now, and will be the first thing I complete on December 1, so I would imagine that chapters of What Fates Impose should start appearing around late Dec/early Jan. To clarify: I am not writing What Fates Impose for NaNo. I will never write a fanfiction for NaNo. What Fates Impose is being put on hold while I write my second original NaNo novel. See ya'll in December, I guess XD 9/22: 3/6 chapters to be completed before posting finished, and a few hundred words into the fourth. I have a huge calculus test coming up, so I haven't had much time to spend writing. Also, I've been working on a ShikaTema drabble that I will probably rework a few times and then post. 9/13: NejiTen won out :) 12,219 words and counting. 2/6 chapters to be completed before posting. (Naruto) Unmasked - Naruto and Sakura (mostly Sakura) come up with yet another plot to find out what Kakashi looks like. (Naruto) Salvation in Memory - Temari introspective (Naruto) My views on several very random, fanfiction-related things: Flames: Will be ignored. Period. Especially as it's usually in regards to characterization and pairings, which are stupid things to get upset over. If you don't like my interpretation, don't read it. Constructive Criticism: Is appreciated unless it relates to an older work, because in all likelihood you're criticizing something I've already recognized as a problem and gotten past. Reviews: Are loooooove. Seriously. I get little pink hearts floating around my head every time I get a review. I almost always reply to a non-flame review. So, please review. OTPs: I have only ever had one, but would consider any two characters I hated to see paired with anyone else an OTP. Pairings: Outside of my only OTP (which happens to be ShikaTema) I don't really care. If it sounds interesting and is believably and well written, I will read it. Though I don't particularly like anything pairing either Shikamaru or Temari with someone else, I do occasionally read such stories, and there are a few good ones. I never flame anyone based on a pairing that they have chosen to write about, and I hope that all of you will extend the same courtesy to me. My Writing I first got onto fanfiction.net when I was twelve years old, and I'm pretty sure it's a lifelong addiction. There are times when I'm less into it and times when I'm more into it. I have trouble writing long stories, which is why I now force myself to complete at least six chapters of a major story before I'm allowed to post it. So far, I've never managed to get even that far (Forgetting the Past was pre-six-chapter-rule). I love to write drabbles. Like, a lot. For every drabble posted on this site, there are at least three more that I don't feel are up to par or consider to private to post. Fanfiction that I don't want posted on ffnet but do want to make available in case I ever actually get fans (it seems unlikely) can be found on my wordpress. It will also contain sneak peeks of my chaptered stories. Updates on how far I am with writing and what I'm working on can be found on my livejournal account, along with random stories about my life and what's going on, etc, etc. I keep these seperate because my family reads my livejournal, and they have very little interest in actually reading my fanfiction, though they're used to hearing me rant about it by now XD I do some fanart, and I like to think I'm a decent artist- my work can be found on my deviantart account. Feel free to pm me or email me if you have any requests for drabbles- I won't swear that I'll write them and they may remain confined to my wordpress, but you have a pretty good chance :p I'll write any het pairing, and there is a limited set of yaoi pairings I'm willing to write. About me (notice that I put this farthest down the page, as it is of the least importance) Name: Not Annmarie, but if I go by my real name online, people mistake me for a guy, which has led to some very awkward situations in the past. Age: Older than Shikamaru T_T But closer in age to Kakashi than I was, so I guess that's okay. Gender: As you probably guessed, female. Favorite Characters EVER (in order of favoriteness): Kakashi, Shikamaru, Temari, Jaina Solo, Han Solo, Ichigo, Dom, Kel, Orihime, Naruto, Mara Jade Skywalker, Neal, Ginny Weasley, Lirael, Nick, Aloysius Pendergast, Dmitri (yeah, from the animated movie Anastsia), Chiyo/Sayuri. ~It should be noted that I am not a Kakashi fangirl. I think his hair is idiotic. I just love his character :3 Seriously, he's been on my list of favorites since I was eleven years old. This does not mean that I go around convinced I'm going to marry him someday, or cosplaying as some ninja girl that he'll fall desperately in love with, or inserting myself as an OC that he falls in love with. I can't tell you how much I hate that stereotype. Just sayin'. It sort of frightens me that girls like that have the same favorite character that I do. After typing up a ridiculously long list of pairings I like, I decided it would be easier to do a list of the small number of pairings I don't like. This does not necessarily mean that I hate you because you like them or that I would throw a fit if they ever showed up in cannon. Some of them I even like in cannon. They just really suck in fanfiction (um, no offense intended?). Pairings I dislike: SasuSaku, twincest of any sort, Ichigo-yaoi, NaruHina, KJ, Ulqihime, Ishihime, Draco/ANYONE (though, come to think of it, the first fanfiction story I EVER read was HGDM...). I also dislike incest in general, though I have been known to make an except for Byakuya/Rukia and Neji/Hinata. The number of yaoi pairings I enjoy is rather limited. | |||||||||||
