Okay, so here's the skinny (or whatever else it's called). Name's Jay. I'm a 'sometimes' author. Meaning I usually only write when the story just clonks me in the head and I have to put it on paper. Doesn't happen too often, but man is it sweet when it does.
On the other hand, I'm an avid roleplayer. That's where most of my stories actually come from. Meaning they're not just written by me but by another person writing the opposite character. It's great fun, co-opting stories. I could wax poetical about rp for years. But getting on with the point.
My fandoms are (listed in no particular order):
Devil May Cry (with caveats, of course. 'Ware the mention of it, please.)
Lord of the Rings (Same as above. It's a rabid subject.)
Narnia There's a bit more leeway in this fandom. C. S. Lewis left a lot of things open to discussion in his books, therefore I can accept the fact that everyone will see things differently. However, I am still all for keeping the characters in-character, no pun intended, because that's just the way things should be. Favorites are: Caspian, Lucy, Edmund and the most awesome Lion in fiction, Aslan.
Final Fantasy VII, including Advent Children, Crisis Core, Last Order and Dirge of Cerberus. (I'm a massive Vincent and Sephiroth fangirl, again, caveats exist in that fandom too, so be careful if you will).
Inuyasha (I am a complete Kouga fangirl, sue me. I heart the wolf muchlies. I can tolerate the hanyou to an extent, for I want to rub his ears like woah, and bow down to his big brother in complete worship. Sesshoumaru rulz.)
Hellsing (Alucard is quite the most awesome vampire in existance, disregarding the next mentioned and I just adore Integra all to pieces.)
Vampire Hunter D (I seldom write this one, but really enjoy the books and absolutely adore the movies.)
My partner in crime, meaning my usual roleplay buddy, is my great friend Animenadie. Click the link to find her site. But she has co-authored a few of the greatest stories I've been a part of to date. Of course, there are a few other great friends with whom I play, but I haven't posted them here quite yet.
However, creativity is ever consuming and I never seem to suffer from the lack of it. I work on original fictions as well as fanfiction and also have a few "mature" stories posted here at AFF.net. Be sure you're able to read those stories before you visit! I'm not responsible for offendedness because of content if you're not!
Also, I'm obliged to offer thanks and inspiration to more than a few folks, so I'll list them here.

Darknightdestiny
Bleuwyn

Savvy Savie
Sunscorched and
Naproxenne.
Many, many thanks to the above and their works; visit and see if you haven't yet already. All right, I could go on and on, but this is getting tedious, so I'll just leave it at that. Welcome to my world, folks. Don't worry, they know me here. Read if you like; I'd appreciate it. And have safe journeys, wherever you chance to travel next.

Latest news: Nadie and I are amazingly beginning to drift away from our FFVII stuff. Dry your eyes, kiddies, it's just a momentary lapse, trust me. We'll pick up on the stories when we can. Have to follow the muses, y'know. But we're writing singly for a change, just to try something different. It petrifies me. Nevertheless, I'm being a brave girl and am diligently working on my own fanfiction, based on the Chronicles of Narnia. See below; it rocks socks, yo.
So, for all you starry-eyed kids out there, keep reading and keep writing!
