"Good Coffee is like drinking Rock'N'Roll!"
My name's Charlotte, but I'd rather that you'd call me Charlie. I'm 31 years of age and I call Denmark for my home. Favorite color is the Navy Blue, so I combined my nickname with blue and got my Penname out of that.
As you can probably deduce, I love Coffee and Rock music. I also loves watching a lot of Crime TV shows, with either the Dynamic Duo or an Energetic Team. Or a combination of the both, an Energetic Team, that stayes in the lab and have the Dynamic Duo that goes out into the field. As well as a lot of realistic Sci-Fi TV shows, which you can see by the list just below this section. I can't stand most other genres, because either they annoy me to tears or bores me to death. The same applies to movies, for the most part that is.
Anything Else: English is of course my second language and because I'll never get my fanfics beta'ed, there will be mistakes. You will have to live with that, because my ff's much like art for artists and artists never reveal their paintings before they do an art show. So I write and upload, without having my fanfics beta'ed.
Oh yeah... Apologize for the giant-mungous - if that is even a word? - bio down there and I hope that you can overlook all that stuff. If you don't want to scroll all the way through it, you can just hide it. But even that, I somehow want you to read it. But I will understand the former of course. It's just that I have a lot to say and I can't seem to shortend this. At all.

I don't do the "pair-one-character-with-multiple-characters thing", in the romantic way at least, because frankly that is way too odd for my taste. Stick to the "pair-one-character-with-only-one-character-and-the-same-character" all the way and I can stomach it more easily. I have never gotten how some persons can do that "pair-one-character-with-multiple-characters" thing. Never seen the logic in this whole strange business. But that's just me with this stuff.
I also refuse the use of fancy pairing descriptions, unless they're about Mulder/Scully/Romance (MSR), Doggett/Reyes/Romance (DRR) and Grissom/Sara/Romance (GSR), because they are my first real loves, both in TV show and in pairings. But all others? Well, forget about it, because some are simply too hard to deciper. I mean, it took me ages to figure out, that Fiesta in the CSI: NY universe was the Flack/Stella pairing, or at least I suppose it is correct. What the heck's wrong with calling them by their names? Just as I have done.
I USED TO LOVE THESE TV SHOWS AND PAIRINGS:
I still enjoy a few of them though and watch them, if they should re-run on Danish TV...
SILK STALKINGS (Chris/Rita, Tom/Cassy) PICKET FENCES (Kenny/Max) LA FEMME NIKITA (Michael/Nikita) THIRD WATCH (Bosco/Faith, Bobby/Kim) BUFFY (Angel/Buffy) WATER RATS (Frank/Rachel) WALKER, TEXAS RANGER (Walker/Alex) THE NANNY (Max/Fran) 7 DAYS (Frank/Olga) MYSTERIOUS WAYS (Declan/Miranda)
COULD PEOPLE PLEASE SPELL AND GET NAMES CORRECT?
Please check for correct spellings of names on your fandoms official sites people, or if spell check on your computer doesn't provide the fandom spelling, add it to the dictionary yourself. I'm OCD with that in fact, it makes my skin crawl and I will always comment on first names spelled wrong, mostly in a review.
CSI Sara is not Sarah / Catherine is not Katherine / Warrick is not Warwick
(Check CSI's official site at CBS)
Stargate SG-1 Jack (Jonathan) is not Jonathon, Johnathan or Johnathon / Sha're is not Shu'ri (only spelled like that in the movie) / Selmak is not Selmac
(Check GateWorld and other official sites)
Stargate: Atlantis Ronon is not Ronan / Elizabeth is not Elisabeth / Major Lorne's first name is Evan and not Marcus
(Check GateWorld and other official sites)
Bones Seeley is not Seely / Zack is not Zach / Camille is not Camile
(Check BONES' official site at FOX)
House Allison is not Alison
(Check HOUSE's official site at FOX)
Battlestar Galactica Cally is not Callie / Zak is not Zach or Zack
(Check BattlestarWiki)
CSI: NY Lindsay is not Lindsey / Mac is not Mack
(Check CSI: NY's official site at CBS)
CSI: Miami Calleigh is not Callie
(Check CSI: MIAMI's official site at CBS)
Is it so difficult to go check for the correct spellings people? Or add it to the dictionary, on whatever you write fanfics on, whether Word or OpenOffice or other things like that. I really wouldn't think so... And if it is a TV show, adapted from a movie, names might have been changed in spellings. Please have that in mind, as it have been the case with the movie "Stargate" and its TV adaption "Stargate SG-1". And the other way around. There is a difference people, so will you please remember that.
OH YEAH, THEN THERE'S THE MISHAPS WHEN IT COMES TO LAST NAMES:
CSI It's Sara Sidle (not Sidel)
Stargate SG-1 It's Jack O'Neill (not O'Neil only in the movie) / It's Janet Fraiser (not Frasier/Fraizer/Frazier) / It's Jennifer Hailey (not Haley/Hayley)
Stargate: Atlantis It's John Sheppard (not Shepherd) / It's Ronon Dex (not Dax)
Bones It's Seeley Booth (not Boot) / It's Temperance Brennan (not Brenna) / It's Jack Hodgins (not Hodkins) / It's Camille Saroyan (not Soroyan)
You may think I'm extremley overly sensitive, when it comes to names, but this is who I am and how I feel. Because I am a lover of names, first names especially, and their etymology, I care deeply about where they hails from, about how they are spelled and pronounced, preferably correctly in all regards. So deal with me being like this and me always make comments on this, because this I can't help. Call me weird, I do not care the least, because this is my passion.
I DISLIKE:
- When people don't state which pairing, the story is about, in the summary. Because it causes you to tap into a story, with a pairing that you do not support and that is so annoying.
- Mary Sue's and the male ditto. It is OK to love your fandom, but that doesn't give you the right, to even write yourself into a story. It is OK to send the fandom/pairing to your country and even your city, but that is it.
- When someone forgets about a character, just because they hate or dislike that character. They are still there. The same goes for bashing. There's no need for that either. Be respectful.
- When someone dislike an obvious pairing, only because of the age-gap between said characters. It is not unheard off and I know it can be done, because of an example from my own personal life, as in my own family.
