Author has written 18 stories for Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Resident Evil, Harry Potter, and Left 4 Dead. 1.4.13 in the works: BETTER TO BURN Rikku hasn't seen Auron in a long, long time. She remembers his hands as they turned into lights, most of all. She squints in the sun and breathes in enough air to drown. "You're dead," she says. He nods. "What is the last thing you remember?" His voice is soft. Panic bubbles beneath her chest. "No. I – I have things to do, I..." The words die in her throat. The sun beats down warmly, but a Bikanel sun this is not: she has never seen a field so full of life anywhere on Spira. The irony burns her throat dry. She wonders if he'll say he's sorry, because it feels like the thing to say, but silence follows. She wonders if anyone said sorry to him when he found his way here. She figures it's okay because she's sorry enough for both of them. "I'm not ready," she tells him, and she looks away as her mouth pulls down and her eyes scrunch to battle the hot, hurting tears. A sob wracks her body, awkward and paper-thin, and she wonders: how did it come to this? "For that," his voice finds her, "I apologize." The rundown: I read, I write, a lot on both counts, and a lot of fanfiction on both counts as well.
