Rewriting Eragon. I'm starting to realize just how incredibly badly thought out the Inheritance cycle really is, but that's okay, as long as I can poke fun of it.

Adrian used to have a pretty normal life, for a vampire.
Recs of the Month:
Book: Fire and Hemlock, by Dianne Wynne Jones. This woman could write about dishwashing, and I'd still be glued to the pages.This is just ... so damn lovely. If you can get over the age difference - and you can, because this is Jones - then this is something that you must read.
FFnet-fic: Had I Known by kayly silverstorm. "After killing Voldemort during seventh year, Harry vanished without a trace. But now, 8 years later, a deadly secret forces him to return and it seems that only Snape will be able to save him. SSHP, no slash." Okay, I'll admit that I'm completely in love with fics that have some sort of Harry/Snape relationship in them, but that's only if they're both in character. Had I Known manages this brilliantly. The plot is fantastic, and the original characters are original without stealing the show. (Too much.)
Webcomic: Honeydew Syndrome. Subtlety! No longer ambiguously gay content! Boys that don't look like flatchested girls! Truly, Honeydew has it all. Also it has absoloutely gorgeous art and realistic dialogue. This is quality stuff.
Movie: Into the Mirror. I'm not one for Asian horror flicks, cos I get scared too easily. But this! This! Oh my God, there are no words. It's - I wouldn't call it a horror movie, because it isn't, not really - it's more of a supernatural mystery. With, y'know, people being killed by a ghost in mirrors, except that this ghost is actually sensible, and doesn't go about killing people left, right and centre. The ending is a total mindfuck, too, which is bloody brilliant, and there's some gay subtext, if that's your thing. GO SEE THIS NAOW I TELLS YOU. >:D
