Hello, there! I'm Winter Sapphire, though I more commonly go by Carrie or Chaka. I turned 18 as of May and graduated from high school as of June 8th. I am attending a four-year liberal arts college and am majoring in English.
Now that that's out of the way, let me get on to my fandoms. If you're reading this, odds are you're most likely an Avatard or a fan of musicals. Of course, there's also the possibility you're a Browncoat. Maybe you're wondering what the hell I'm talking about. Basically, I like writing for a variety of different things, that include but are not limited to:

or something else entirely. I just have a wide range of interests, and when I get the fancy to write for something - bygod, I'm going to write for it. Of course, that leaves the little problem of getting distracted from the other things I've devoted time to. I have never finished a multi-chapter story, I'm ashamed to say.

Legally Blonde
Oh, my. Where to start? First off, I absolutely adore the Legally Blonde Broadway musical. I bought the soundtrack on a whim after my friend told me it was available on iTunes, and I've been in love ever since (primarily with Emmett/Christian Borle -cough-). It just has such an amazing story, and the music is thoroughly addicting. Not only that but my OTP for the show...
Emmett and Elle
is just so adorable. I love how their relationship grows, and I love how the musical develops it so much more than the movie. THEIR story is part of what make me love the musical so much. I know it's about Elle, but Emmett plays such an important part in her growing up that separate they aren't nearly as strong as they are together.
And Emmett's just a sweetheart. "Is this my second? My third? I dunno, but I am loooooviiiing it!" Oh, Emmett, you and red bull.
I also ship Kyle and Paulette as well as (for some odd reason) Warner and Brooke.
Enchanted
I'm new to this fandom, though I've been a fan of the movie ever since it was in theatres. It's just so refreshing to watch. I love Disney, and I love so much that it manages to make fun of itself while still making a heartwarming movie with heartwarming characters. I have to say Robert is my favourite for his somewhat-sulky but still kind and considerate self, but I love each character in turn from Nathaniel to Pip to Edward to Giselle and everyone in between. Even the bus lady has a place in my heart. As for my OTP for the series, is it any surprise that it's...

Maybe I'm just predictable with canon pairings, but I just love these two. It's almost indescribable why, but I'll attempt it. Have you ever seen something right from the beginning and known, "that's it." That's what it was like when I first saw Enchanted's commercials. I was entranced by them from the beginning - or maybe the more accurate word is "enchanted". How could I not fall in love with them? Also, if you're an Enchanted writer - don't neglect poor Morgan! She is amazing, and without her these two would have never gotten together!
I also ship Nancy and Robert for this fandom.
Firefly
I could talk about Firefly for hours. Literally. For a show that only lasted one season - not even - it has such an amazing premise and amazing characters. What's even more amazing is the fandom behind it - the Browncoats. I've been in and out of a lot of fandoms in my short life, but the Browncoats have undoubtedly been the most radical and friendly group I've met. There's practically no arguing in the fandom because we're all fighting for one common goal: resurrection (which we did get somewhat with the movie Serenity and with comics and such). But aside from the fandom, the show and the movie itself is filled with such heart and such creativity and such realism for a sci-fi that it's amazing. The characters are all so well-developed and it's just... gah. Words cannot describe it. As for my OTP, well...

Yep, you heard me. There isn't one ship I prefer more than the other. Whether it's the married, mostly-stable relationship between Zoe and Wash, the shaky new beginnings of Kaylee and Simon, the hot and tension-filled love-hate of Inara and Mal, or the silly and joke-filled Jayne and Vera (lulz, Browncoats get it) I love them all! Each relationship is built so solidly that it's amazing, even the non-romantic ones! Whether it's the careful treading steps of Simon as he tries to reach back to River, the sweetness of sister-like affection between Inara and Kaylee, or even the budding friendship between Shepherd Book and Jayne each relationship of friendship and companionship is so clear and so well developed it makes me smile.
Browncoats: would you disagree?
Everyone else, go watch the series and the movie in that order. It's well-worth it.
Heroes
Because, let's face it, this show is amazing on so many levels. Not only are the characters amazing, whether they're good or bad or comfortable in the morally grey area, but their interactions and the way the show is weaved to bring them all together is just astounding. I have to admit, I liked the first season for that aspect mostly, and though the second season was amazing as well I was a bit disappointed in the lack of communications between a lot of the heroes. Did Micah and Molly get more time together? No. But it still was a good season, and I'm hoping for more in season three (which I am very, VERY excited for... I hope we have cable in college). Anyways, as for my OTP... you may think me sick, but it's:
Peter and Claire.
I can't help myself, it's a guilty pleasure! I guess it helps that I started shipping them before I found out their, ah, unfortunate relation. But, honestly, the revelation of the fact that they're uncle and niece didn't deter me in the slightest from shipping them. In fact, I think it kind of makes it more exciting. Forbidden love - can it get any better? And with the new season three trailer, it looks like they might even have a chance. I don't know, and I won't get my hopes up, but my fingers are crossed.
I also ship Molly and Micah, Matt and Mohinder, Nathan and Niki and kinda-sorta Sylar and Maya... kinda-sorta.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
After three live-action things, are you surprised to see this? Don't be, I'm still a kid at heart - though Avatar should not be considered merely a kids show, even if it is on Nickelodeon (which sucks almost as much as FX right now).
Anyway, I love Avatar as much as any of the other fandoms. There's just so much to say about it, just like with Firefly. The world is so well-built and each character, big and small, has such a personality that it makes the show great. And the world is built up in such a way that it's almost hard to believe it's not real. It had politics, religion, everything. It is its own world. As for my OTP...
It's a tie! Between Kataang and Tokka.
Because I love them both so much. I write for Tokka more, because the lulz-worthy shenanigans are just so entertaining, but Kataang is just as dear in my heart for its depth and its slow-building romance. If you ship Zutara, no, I don't hate you. See the video at the end of this portion to hear my thoughts.
Toph and Sokka are best friends. Though I know nothing will probably come from it (pleasepleaseplease) it's still awesome. Only Tokka has the best shenanigans and the best drunken fics in the fandom. Who doesn't love drunken romance? Sure, maybe they're three years apart - but age is just a number. Who can say what will happen?
As for Kataang, it's been around since episode one. It's grown and matured with the series, and for those who insist it's not going to happen... not meaning to be rude, but open your eyes. It's there, and it is canon.
I also ship Maiko (Mai and Zuko), Smellershot (Smellerbee and Longshot), and the complete crackship but awesome thought pairing Ursoda (Ursa and Hakoda).

Fruits Basket
Though I admit I've been out of the loop in this fandom for about a year, I still have such a soft spot for it. Tied for my favourite anime, lie very other one of my fandoms the storyline and characters are definitely what drew me in. And there was something about people transforming into the animals of the zodiac that kind of just intrigued me... As for my OTP...
I'm not sure!
You see, with Furuba I get confused very easily. I have the entire anime series, but I have not read the entire manga. I know Kyoru is canon in the manga, and I LOVE Kyo and Tohru together, but in the anime series it's kind of left at a standstill and I will always love Yukiru again, because Yuki and Tohru are both so sweet. D: So I write for both! (And I think I just used my first smilie throughout this entire thing.)
As for other ships, pretty much anything canon I go with. And maybe an Ayame - Hatori - Shigure polygamy (just kidding? Or am I..?).
Rurouni Kenshin
Last but certainly not least, we have Rurouni Kenshin. Why do I love this anime? Because not only is Kenshin the most adorable, troubled, kind-hearted, bad-ass, bipolar anime character in existence (and that mix is way hard to make), but it also teaches about the history of the Meiji era in Japan, even with a few fantasy twists and fictionated plot devices. Surprised? I wouldn't be, with the trend I seem to show in these fandoms. I'm actually not sure why this ship speaks out to me so much since Kaoru's not my favourite character (though I do like her), but I just love this pairing. I can only write them AU usually though. I'm not very good with canon-verse in this fandom.
I also ship Aoshi and Misao and Megumi and Sanosuke.
