Author has written 6 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Howl's Moving Castle, Harry Potter, Robin of Sherwood, and Four Brothers. It was a long time since I joined this website and yet I still haven't done anything about my page. It's quite embarrassing, actually. Well, what do you know? I finally got to it! I guess I should start with some basic facts. I'm nineteen years old and come this September, I'll be starting the University in Wales, England. Which means I will be living away from my family for the first time in my life and in a different country at that! Which will be exciting but at the same time a little scary. Speaking of my family, it consists of my mother and father and two brothers; one older and one younger so that makes me the middle child. I've always heard that it's supposed to be very tough being the middle one but I can't say I've ever noticed that. If any of the children in our family gets his or her way, it would be me. :D My biggest passion in life, no questions about it, is Supernatural. The tv-series, I mean. I completely and utterly LOVE Supernatural. I've never seen another tv-series that could inspire you, make you laugh, make you cry, have you on your tiptoes and, on top of it all, stars two so very hot guys in the leads, as Supernatural. I think I have a thing for movies and tv-series portraying family and the relationship between family members, which is why Supernatural must be no. 1 on the list of my favorites. There's no other brothers like the Winchester brothers! Well, like I said, I have a thing for movies and tv-series portraying family and the relationship between family members, which is why I also love Four Brothers and Numb3rs. I love to read and favorites being: - Harry Potter, by J.K. Rowling (OF COURSE! I mean, how can you not love them?) Another thing I love very much is Manga and Anime and my absolute favorite writer is Yuu Watase. I have her entire series of Fushigi Yugi, Alice 19th, Imadoki, first 6 books of Ceres and the first 2 books of Absolute Boyfriend. I also like Detective Conan by Gosho Aoyama a lot. And Rurouni Kenshin when it comes to Anime. The music I prefer is mostly calm and beautiful. You know; the kind of songs that moves your heart. I have only one group that I admire and that's Il Divo. Otherwise I usually fall in love with specific songs and not groups. Here are some of my favorite songs: - My Heart Will Go On, by Celine Dion I also love movies very much and my favorites there being (not necessarily in that order): - The Phantom of the Opera (Tragic but at the same time very beautiful and enchanting) Other interests are to write, sing, watch a good musical and travel. I guess that's about everything interesting you'd want to know about me. Heck, I don't even know if you want to know this but anyway... So, uh, I don't have much more to say. I just hope you know me a little better now. I thought I could end this with a few of my favorite quotes: Dean: "Hope your apple-pie is frickin' worth it!" ~ Scarecrow, Supernatural Sam: "People just don't disappear, Dean. Other people just stop looking for them." ~ Dead in the Water, Supernatural Dean: "Demons I get. People are crazy." ~ The Benders, Supernatural Dean: "You hurt my brother, I'll kill you, I swear. I'll kill you all. I will kill you all!" ~ The Benders, Supernatural Sam: "You're my brother and I'd die for you, but there are some things I need to keep to myself." ~ Bloody Mary, Supernatural Dean: "Hey, you want some white meat, bitch? I'm right here!" ~ Wendigo, Supernatural Dean: "Sam, when Dad told me I might have to kill you, it was only if I couldn't save you. Now if it's the last thing I do, I'm gonna save you." ~ Born under a bad sign, Supernatural "I gave you my music, Balian: "What man is a man that does not make the world better?" ~ Kingdom of Heaven Captain Jack Sparrow: "A wedding! I love weddings. Drinks all around!" ~ Pirates of the Caribbean Will: "Where's Elizabeth?" ~ No guy is worth your tears and when you find one that is, he won't make you cry. ~ ~ What lies before us and what lies behind us are tiny matters to what lies within us. ~ ~ You don't fail if you fall. You fail if you don't try to get up. ~ ~ Live your dreams; it's not as hard as it may seem. ~ ~ I'm scared that I'm going to end up alone. I'm scared that I'm always going to be somebody's friend, or sister, or confidant, and never quite somebody's everything. ~ ~ We are the heroes of our own stories. ~ ~ Life isn't measure by the amount of breaths you take, but by the moments that leave you breathless. ~ The most beautiful thing I have ever read was something I found on a sign at what I call the "Memorial path" in Cairns, Australia. I call it that because I don't know what its real name is. It was a small path where trees had been planted in memory of a loved one who had passed away. Each tree had a sign with a little message on them and one of the signs read: "She never complained that roses have thorns. She rejoiced that thorns have roses." Don't that just say it all? And right at that moment, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be such a person who can see that all perfection has flaws but that it is something to rejoice rather than regret. I said earlier that I would post the original story of Ducks in Heaven on my page and still haven't done it. Well, check this out; I finally have! Btw: The names of the three boys are quite irrelevant, only that Benny should be the name of the last one because that’s how the original story goes. Funny enough, my dad’s name is Benny. ;) He was also the person who told me this story. Enjoy! DUCKS IN HEAVEN – The Original Story There were these three guys name John, Albert and Benny. One day they were out driving in their car, happened to drive off a cliff and die. They came up to Heaven and were met at the Pearly Gate by Saint Pete. “Welcome to Heaven,” he said. “You’re about to walk through the Pearly Gate and into eternity, but first you must promise me something. You must swear not to step on a duck. Because if you do, that one starts quacking, and then another joins in, and then another, and another, and another until all Heaven is literally QUACKING!” Well, the three boys didn’t think it would be a problem to avoid stepping on a duck. You see where you put your foot down, right? So they swore and Saint Pete opened the gates. The boys paled. The floor in Heaven (or pieces of cloud, or whatever) was CROWDED with ducks. They covered every millimeter of the floor. They were everywhere. So, naturally, when a few minutes had passed, John stepped on a duck. And the duck started quacking, and then another joined in, and then another, and another, and another until all Heaven was, like Saint Pete had said, literally QUACKING. And Saint Pete came running; screaming to make himself heard above all the noise: “I told you not to step on a duck!” He disappeared for a moment and when he came back he had a very old and extremely UGLY hag with him. He took the hag and chained her to John by the hand. “Your punishment for stepping in a duck is to be chained to this old hag for all eternity,” Saint Pete said. That’s not good, Albert and Benny thought. What a horrible fate to face! So they were extra careful as to where they put their feet down. But a few hours later, Albert still managed to step on a duck. And the duck started quacking, and then another joined in, and then another, and another, and another until all Heaven was, once again, literally QUACKING. And Saint Pete came running again; screaming, again, to make himself heard above all the noise: “I told you not to step on a duck!” He disappeared for a moment and when he came back he had another very old and extremely UGLY hag with him. He took the hag and chained her to Albert by the hand. “Your punishment for stepping in a duck is to be chained to this old hag for all eternity,” Saint Pete said. I have to be extra, extra careful, Benny thought, for he certainly didn’t want to share his friend’s unfortunate fate. So he was careful and watched where he put his feet down. And hours passed, and days, and weeks, and months and Benny still hadn’t stepped on a duck. Then one day, Saint Pete appeared before him and with him he had the most amazing, most beautiful, most perfect girl you can imagine. He took this drop-dead gorgeous girl and chained her to Benny by the hand. Benny was so surprised and so happy. “What have I done,” he said in wonder, “to earn something so wonderful?” “Well, I don’t know what you have done,” the girl said, “but I stepped on a duck.” It will be interesting to find out how many persons that actually understood this story. I told it to some of my friends before and they all stared at me totally blank on their faces when I was finished. Then a few seconds passed and suddenly they said “Oh, right! Now I get it!” And they would all start laughing. I mean, come on, you have to understand it. I know I did right away. Hope you had a good laugh. :D | |||||||||
