Author has written 6 stories for Star Wars, Firefly, Doctor Who, and Supernatural. I'm a freelance graphic designer and (embarassingly) still plugging along toward my bachelor's. I hate university bureaucracies. I am female, 27 years old, and devoutly religious. I've lived in Romania for a year and a half (mostly in Transylvania!) and I speak fluent Romanian. No, there were no vampires. Annoying Latin males, yes, but no vampires. Gardens are a passion of mine, though I haven't been able to properly garden for years now (currently I'm nursing an herb garden in pots, with limited success.) I'm a book addict. Several past roommates have made discontented noises about the number of bookcases I haul around...Favorite authors are Terry Pratchett (genius!), Lois McMaster Bujold (Miles is my dream guy), and Lindsay Davis, among others. I have several completed works posted here: a number of Doctor Who oneshots, the almost novel-length Firefly/Doctor Who crossover titled "The Man With No Name" (or "A Life Less Extraordinary") and "Elementary My Dear Obi-Wan" a Sherlock Holmes/Star Wars crossover (it works! I swear!) that I wrote, ooh, nearly ten years ago now. For me, fanfiction is a fantastic way to explore new avenues and hone writing skills, all while getting the sort of instant gratification from praise and constructive criticism that would otherwise require years and patience until actual publication was achieved. It's fun playing in other people's sandboxes, and I know I've improved as a writer because of it. :D At the moment I'm working on a couple of fanfics that have NOTHING to do with what I'd originally planned to write about, but hey--that's the writing gods for ya. Stay tuned for more. I love hearing from my readers, and frequently reply to reviews. I appreciate constructive criticism, but reserve the right to ignore anybody and everybody except my beta reader. :D | |||||||||||
