Author has written 34 stories for Bartimaeus Trilogy, Harry Potter, X-Men: Evolution, House, M.D., Batman Begins/Dark Knight, and James Bond. I am interested in several things: music, sports, TV, movies, reading, writing, and fanfiction (obviously). That's not to say my interests are exclusive. Those are just the ones that seem pertinent at the moment. As far as fanfiction goes, Harry Potter is probably my favorite area, just because of the large amount of fic available, although my favorites tend to be smart, well-written fics with careful consideration of characterization and a dash of humor. I know a lot of people can't stand Harry or are sick of him after 7 books of his oblivious perspective, but I can't get enough of Harry's idiocy, particularly in AUs (and I'll readily admit that I'm a Harmonian; I could write an entire essay about this and have, before but let's just suffice it to say that I love Ron but Ginny irritates me, at best). Of course, Hermione is another one of my favorite characters, a character I appreciate more every day. I'll write about just anyone, although Dumbledore, Remus, and Snape particularly fascinate me. In addition I used to write a lot of Bartimaeus Trilogy fanfiction, but that fandom's pretty much dead now. I will tell you to go get a copy of not only that trilogy, but also Heroes of the Valley by the same author (Jonathan Stroud) if you enjoy fantasy books at all; both are great. My other major category is X-Men: Evolution fanfiction, almost always involving Lance Alvers - a character who I feel is worth of the 616 canon, Richter and Petros be damned. Besides that I'll write just about anything that pops into my head. I try to update regularly but always fail (You Can Call Me Tommy is the best example of this; that fic will never be regularly updated, since the sporadic nature of updates is half the fun), but I'll finish nearly everything I post. | |||||||||||
