May 18, 2013 - Another chapter added to The Land Between Solar Systems - thanks yet again to the lurkers who keep getting me so many hits, but I'm dying to actually hear from you! Also up today is a new oneshot, just a fun drabble as a tag to Star Trek: Into Darkness (it contains MAJOR movie spoilers though) called A Funny Thing Happened in the Med Bay.
Apr 30: Five Times Phil Coulson Saved Them is complete, and I added yet more of The Land Between Solar Systems - thank you to all the lurkers who keep giving it a bajillion hits, and to all the anons who have reviewed it (who I've therefore been unable to directly reply to). Also added a new oneshot, for The Prisoner (2009) called I Am Not A Number. I have a ton of stuff waiting in the wings, just need the time to work on 'em!
Mar 20: More Five Times Phil Coulson Saved Them and more Land Between Solar Systems. Also, a new one-shot (also for Avengers, or Iron Man technically I suppose) called The Definition and Overuse of Nice.
Feb 22: I'm continuing to post new chapters for The Land Between Solar Systems (c'mon, give 'er a read - poor baby is sorely lacking in reviews), as well as a new fic, called Five Times Phil Coulson Saved Them (And One Time They Saved Him) for the Avengers.
I am a female between the age of 20 and 29.
I ramble in messages, I love messaging fellow readers/writers/fans. Feel free to drop me a line with comments, questions, hey's and hi's, whatever you fancy. :D I wax and wane between being madly obsessed and cooly enjoying fandoms. I keep scads of notebooks with half-finished things and ideas and notes in them. I can't even begin to explain to you the depth of my love for Lost.
If I read it, I WILL review it, regardless of how much I liked it or didn't like it. I don't necessarily expect the same from every single person, but I definitely would hope for it! I think it's a simple courtesy. The author took the time to write it and share it, I took the time to read it, so it's only fair I give them my thoughts on it, even if it's just one word. I try to leave helpful and specific reviews, but sometimes I just don't have much to say. Lastly, I desperately appreciate concrit. If I have errors, typos, inconsistencies, grammar problems, characterization or logic problems - please point them out. I appreciate it immensely. :)
Also, I read a pretty randomly wide range of fics. Lately I seem to have a fascination with both reading and writing whump and angst. I have no idea why. And I LOVE a good crossover. The more clever and conceivably canon, the better.
My early fics are embarrassingly bad. Eventually I'll go back and edit them, mostly just spelling, grammar and my tendency to grossly overuse dot-dot-dots, so the main "plot" will remain. They're still pretty embarrassingly bad, though. Seriously tho, you've been warned.

Stuff I Wrote That I Actually Really Like

"Please, understand, sometimes I can't choose what I work on. I can't follow through on a line of thinking just because I want to, or, or because it's needed. I have to work on what's in my head. And right now, this is what's in my head." -Charlie Eppes, Numb3rs
"I love writing but I hate starting. The page is awfully white and it says: 'You may have fooled some of the people some of the time but those days are over, giftless. I'm not your agent and I'm not your mommy, I'm a white piece of paper, you wanna dance with me?' And I really, really don't. I don't want any trouble. I'll go peaceable-like." -Aaron Sorkin
"I have tried simply to write the best I can. Sometimes I have good luck and write better than I can." -Ernest Hemingway
"Writing isn't everything, but it's right up there with oxygen." -Unknown
"Many suffer from the incurable disease of writing, and it becomes chronic in their sick minds." - Juvenal
"If you did not write every day, the poisons would accumulate and you would begin to die, or act crazy, or both - you must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." -Ray Bradbury
"Don't get it right, get it written." -James Thurber
Ok, finally! You are at the bottom, you scurvy dogs! Arrrr...!
