S T I C K Y N O T E S:

2/4/07: Did you hear!?! Clevamugglegrl is ALIVE! She's just been burried under a lot of work and well, a life, to get to her computer and stay long enough to write decently. Okay, that's enough talking in third person. I swear it will make me crazy one day. But, yeah, I put up the REVAMPED version of Your Mystery Phoenix called Phoenix Crusade. I just couldn't stand the writing in my first one but I knew I had to finish the plot for everyone so I'm going through a revising stage and will bring the story back...with a bit more writing skills (I hope).

Q&A of the M O N T H:

Which is better: a sad, more realistic ending or a happy-go-lucky, give you a good feeling ending?

Authoress' Response:

Well, that's a hard question. Hmmm... =_=

My belief is though that life doesn't end all peachy-keen. There will always be loose ends that you can never seem to tie up. Now, I'm not trying to say I'm old and frayed and talking from loads of experience but that's my theory. But you also have to take into account that fiction is meant to be...well, fictional. I think we turn to fiction (and romance especially) for something better than reality. So what to choose? Well, for me, I like the sad endings better. Perhaps it can be a little mroe half and half...but I like the way a sad ending is engraved in the reader's mind. I can't say I remember every happy ending to a story, but I sure do remember the effect of a character death. So...a place in the middle? Yeah, that's where I stand. Not too perfect and clean, but not a whole, the world is a COLD and DARK place ending either.

--If you have a good Q&A you'd like answered, feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do!--
