First, I'd like to thank you for taking enough of an interest in my work to visit this page. You won't find much information on me personally (other than the fact that I'm native Japanese), but I will supply you with the necessary information for my fics. If you want more of undiluted Mistress, go to my LiveJournal. I'll be responding to review questions there, too.

I also try to respond to all reviews, but only if you don't leave a comment as anonymous. I prefer not to respond via e-mail. Or, again, you can go to my LJ and respond as a comment.

CONCERNING MY YYH FICS:

Sources: I used information found in the original comics and the movie Honou no Kizuna which I believe is called The Poltergeist Reportin English. I have seen only several episodes of the animated series in Japanese, but I do understand that there are some differences from the original comics. This also means that my Kurama is not a redhead, nor does he have green eyes.

Reading: My stories do follow a timeline (see below), and I do occasionally refer to incidents that appear in the earlier stories :

CONCERNING MY HxH FICS:

I'd initially hesitated about trying my hand at HxH fics because I found it difficult to write fanfics without knowing where the comic will end (not to say that I'm in a hurry for the series to end! I felt something akin to pain when I finished reading YYH, so I hope HxH won't end for a long time yet!). But then, I so enjoy lynlyn's fic WildHearts Can't Be Broken(I insist that you read it! I'm serious!) that I was inspired to start writing HxH fics as well.

Sources: I do own and have watched the animated version, and while I enjoy it greatly, the information for my fics are based on the comics. This means that the warship incident (and, more specifically, the shower incident which seems to be popular among fanfics) never occurred, and my Kurapika's eyes are NOT blue/green.

Reading:Hunt for the Intangible is an alternate reality fic that ignores most of the Greed Island storyline and beyond. The other fics with the _ x _ x _ titles are part of a single concept, relate to each other, and are meant to expand on the original comics. Then there are a few random fics, just because.

CONCERNING HxH SPELLINGS:

In the fics, I spell character names using the actual spellings found in the Hunter's Guide written by Togashi himself and published by Jump Comics. You might find it distracting until you become accustomed to it, but I ask that you bear with me. Having spent most of my life dealing with my name being misspelled, I'm rather picky about honoring correct spellings of names. This is not to imply that I expect all fics to be written this way; I have absolutely no problem with reading fics by others that use the romaji spellings ; what matters is the quality of the work. However, if you decide to critique my fics based solely on the fact that I choose to use the Guide spellings, please don't bother; they are NOT misspellings (according to Togashi himself!). That said, here's a guide:

As if I don't have enough unfinished projects, at one time or another, I've experimented with beginning a few Gundam Wing and FFVII fics, and who knows what else will tickle my creative fancy in the future. These may or may not ever end up here

11/15/08) Posted the promised side fic written in honor of 200 reviews for Hunt.

(9/28/08) Finally finished one of my been-nearly-finished-for-well-over-a-year fic, "Of Secrets and Resolve." This is one of the GW fics I'd mentioned.

(5/25/08) Well, Hunt just hit 200 on the review count, so it looks like I have a side fic to write. Seems it's been over 3 months since my last update, too, so I am way overdue for some serious writing...

(2/14/08) A flurry of writing activity, and chapter 13 is up! As of this submission, I have hit the 50,000 word mark for Hunt.

Thanks again for muddling your way through my bio page. My intention is for it to be informative, so it may be occasionally updated.
